Starting XI
I am very pumped about the new season .. wondering what every one thinks on contenders and whos going fall away ?

i think dallas could go all the way

what a starting 5

C - Raef LaFrentz
PF- Dirty Dirk
SF- Antawn Jamison
SG- Michael Finley
PG- steve Nash

that is sooo good plus they have a pretty solid bench

the lakers are going to be good to with Gary payton and karl malone

C- shaq
Pf- Malone
Sf- probably Rick fox or Devan George
Sg- Kobe unless he gets put in Jail
Pg derek fisher and Gary payton rotating

plus they have horace grant who is a worthy back up centre for 8-10 minutes a game and the best thing is opening night of the season Dallas vs Lakers

what does everyone think ?

The Lakers have so many stars that will never be able to play together and be happy with the minutes and shots they get. They'll be lucky to make the playoffs.

thats pretty much the lineup i think they should use.

If everyone is healthy they should just give everyone their yearly paycheck, let them spend time with their families and just give the Lakers their rings already...its gonna happen anyway, dont kid yourselves people, u know its true. :brow:

Yeah, we have a very good team this year. I have a bad feeling about the whole Kobe situation though. I think that he is going to miss quite a few games this upcoming season. If everything turns out for the best, there will be a parade in Downtown LA come late June. (H)

The Lakers suck. They're going to play like garbage this year. Payton and Malone are old has-beens. The Kings are going to get what they get stolen from them last summer, and that is the NBA Championship.

I don't think the Kings have made any new signings, I heard they renewed Keon's contracts, so that's a plus, and hopefully Bibby will be in top shape, he played like ****e last season.

Dallas are overrated and inconsistent.

Vlade and Peja shall be in tip-top shape . . . and I heard they got rid of Turkoglue

Actually, Keon Clark was traded to the Jazz for a future 1st round pick. They had to get some cap space so Keon had to go in order to make way for Brad Miller.

Ahhhhhh!!! :kader:

I did not know that . . . Brad Miller is kick ass, though. The Pacers are dumb for giving him up. Brad Miller will be out future center when Vlade retires. The Kings need to get rid of Doug Christie, he is so ****e.

christie is a good defender though he is always top 5 in the league in steals...... i think you would want him for his D. But i dont really like him either.

Damn straight. :rockman:

Yeah, Doug has nice D, he's ace at D'ing up on Kobe . . . but we could do without him. He misses a lot of his shots.
