the chants were awesome... hahaha who would've thought bonner of all ppl getting ejected ...

quote from the papers: "I didn't mean to take him out," said a sheepish Bonner, who has never before been ejected and kept professing his respect for Garnett and Sprewell. "I didn't take him out on purpose. Things happen in basketball. Guys get off-balance. I think when they look at the replay, that'll show."

he didn't even deserve to be ejected, he just put his hand up and grabbed the ball, and KG went down... then he gets up and goes after Bonner like a moron

he's the one who should have been ejected

but still, Bonner's high-fives to fans while he was walking to the dressing room was class (H)

wow... carter is still leading the eastern allstar forwards in votes...

not bad... but yeah I don't think he should be there...not starting at least... but yeah it's not who deserve to be there it's who more fans want to see....and carter is one of them... he can be good when he wants to.. but he just don't look like he wants to be great...

ohh.. and grant hill is 2nd in the forward spot (H)

There should be some sort of minimum requirement for voting for NBA All-Stars. Vince Carter wins every year, even when he's injured. I mean, he doesn't even dunk anymore!!

Wasn't the Knicks' offer better than this one?

To New Jersey:

Carter

To Toronto:

Aaron Williams
Eric Williams
Alonzo Mourning
2 First-round picks

F*ck the people they should put the voting of the starters and the benches in the hands of the coaches, whoever voted for Carter (unless he's a Raps fan) is a f*cking idiot.

I can't wait for this deal to come true! I'd take Alonzo and a couple first round picks over Carter anyday...

But this trade is gonna make the Raptors have too many players...

Griffey is a legend even when down.... Carter only won ONE slam dunk contest and since then, everybody kiss his ass

Griffey at least has done more for baseball than Carter for basketball.

TRADE APPROVED

Nets get: Vince Carter
Raptors get: Aaron Williams
Eric Williams
Alonzo Mourning
2 First-round picks

What a pish trade for the Raptors. If Carter starts to play up to this ability and Kidd doesn't leave then the Nets will be very good in the East.

I'm just glad the cancer is gone. I feel sorry for anyone who bought a carter raptors jersey today ......... it will be at least half price tomorrow :D

the Nets definitely got the best from this trade

not necessarily, lets see what kind of draft picks toronto make in the future. NJ took a big risk. By taking on Vince, maybe somehow he'll turn things around, but there is major bust potential with wasted money in a large contract.

NJ:
PG: Jason Kidd
SG: Vince Carter
SF: Richard Jefferson
PF: Brian Scalabrine
C: Jason Collins

good but weak backcourt .

T.O.

PG: Rafer Alston
SG: Jalen Rose
SF: Morris Peterson/Donyell Marshall/Eric Williams
PF: Chris Bosh
C: Alonzo Mourning

great backcourt and decent guards + draft picks

If Vince goes back to the old vince when he returns from injury and doesn't get injured anytime soon then nj nets have someting to smile about.

nj nets vs raptors this sunday (yeah vince will be on the bench but still) (H)

Smith: This wasn't the best deal for Carter
