Don't forget Marvin, and Jawad just signed with the spurs. Yes that's 5 NBA Players, Carlos*ie had a shot had he not gotten injured before draft camps.

Skip to my Lou will bring some more excitement to the houston rockets....

what we know at the moment: Rafer Alston for Mike James...

Rafer is gonna have a good year playing with T-mac and Yao and Stro

I was looking forward to see rafer play this year as a raptor but I guess he's gone now

I don't like this trade. :( Rafer may have had some attitude problems but I always loved him, sick player and good person. The Raptors are gonna miss his penetration skills too. I predict ****ty offensive season for the Raps... :sb9:

On the other hand tho, if there's one team he has to go to, I'm glad it's Houston. The Rockets are looking pretty good this season, with the energy of Stro and Rafer and some experience from Anderson, maybe they'll get to the Western finals or sumthin. :p

PS: a question, what is the problem with Eddie Curry? Why did the Bulls ask him to take a genetic test or wtv? What illness does he have?

he has a heart condition...

anyway here's the detail of the trade:
Eddy Curry + Antonio Davis --- Tim Thomas + Michael Sweetney + Jermaine Carlos*son
Chicago also receives :
2nd draft choices in 2007 + 2009

Other details:
In addition, New York conveys to Chicago, New York’s 2006 regular first round draft choice on condition that the pick does not actually go to Utah (due to not being number 26-30) and also on condition that New York receives San Antonio’s 2006 regular first round selection (due to being number 11-30). If New York’s 2006 first round does go to Utah (due to being number 26-30), and New York does receive San Antonio’s 2006 first round pick (due to being number 11-30), New York conveys to Chicago that San Antonio first round selection.

In addition, New York also conveys to Chicago the right to switch first round draft picks with New York in 2007 provided that New York’s first round selection does not go to Utah (is not number 25-30). Per team policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed. This trade is conditional upon the players passing their physicals.

man.... if Curry doesn't pan out in NY then the Knicks are in deep trouble for the future.. (unless they don't mind overspending)

Davis, the Knicks' other new player, arrived at camp Wednesday but flew back to Chicago to deal with a family medical problem, Thomas said. Davis, who turns 37 this month, is not enthusiastic about uprooting his life, Thomas said, but he expects Davis to perform strongly.

"He has no choice. This isn't charity,'' Thomas said.

I'm guessing the Bulls will look something like this...

PG 1. Hinrich 2. Duhon 3. Pargo
SG 1. Gordon 2. E.Basdin (amazing dunker) (H) 3. Jermaine Carlos*son
SF 1. Deng 2. Nocioni 3. Piatkowski
PF 1. T.Thomas 2. Songaila 3. O.Harrington
C 1. Chandler 2. Sweetney 3. M.Allen

We "should" make the playoffs...it's the East.

Overspending is never an issue for the Knicks. Salary cap is what's matters...

Nwayz, i really hope Curry solves our center problems and doesn't come up to be another fluke signing.

New York Daily News - Another day came and went without the Knicks being assured that Eddy Curry will receive a clean bill of health from doctors, further raising the possibility that the controversial sign-and-trade deal with the Chicago Bulls could be rescinded.

also AD is looking for a way out of NY... he wants to be home close to his ailing mother in law..
New York Post - Antonio Davis, who returned to Chicago yesterday to be with his ailing mother-in-law, likely will have his contract bought out by the Knicks.

well the knicks are the knicks, but if they are in any city other than NY they would've been run out of town long ago... their payroll just doesn't match their production in basketball sense but they do make money somehow...

Cablevision and the fact of being a NY team, that's why they always have money.

Deng and Duhon :rockman:

Just like last year I'll be keeping a close eye on this Bulls team this year because of the Dukies! (same with Clippers, Jazz, Grizzlies etc...)

Your in luck Vagegast because I myself can't make it. So things will have to be rescheduled.

So there's three options. Either Sunday afternoon, Monday Afternoon/Early Evening or next Saturday. Any thoughts?

Yeah, I hated the fact that Chicago has alot of Dukies, but if they perform well for the team...it's all good.

I too keep track of my former Tar Heels (Carter, Jamison, Haywood, Rasheeed and the whole new wave...this past yers NBA draft. :D

Curry is officially one uf us... The new Knicks guard passed the medicals. He still has the shadow of the irregukar heartbeat to live with.

I am a little upset we let Sweetney go. He was a decent defender, arguably our best last seson. I am so damn glad Tim THomas is outta here. THat scumbag was such an underperformer.

kirilenko on the benefits of wearing a mask:
He can't wait to see if there is a benefit to wearing the mask during a game, something he suspects Detroit's Richard Hamilton already realizes. "I think referees treat you like an injured player, so sometimes if somebody plays hard against you, they call a foul," he theorized. "If they think it's dangerous, that helps me."

lol.... the mask will give him special abilities!!!
