I would put JO, Artest, and Carlos*son ahead of Manu, Parker, and Duncan; ahead of Wallace, Wallace, and Billups; ahead of Shaq, Wade, and Haslem; and ahead of Nash, Marion, and Amare (although if you truely believe Nash doesn't murder his team on defense, that his stats aren't inflated because he's playing with the best starting 5 in the league, and that he doesn't get more assists because the Suns have so many more posessions than the league average, I think a case can be made for this trio).

Suns are not the best starting 5, they are very good and athletic finishers. O'Neal, Artest and Carlos*son are up and coming but they haven't done **** yet so I, personally wouldn't put them up there with no basis.

The Suns this season had the most talented all around starting 5. That doesn't factor in whether or not they won anything, just their talent. Every other team has a weak link like the Spurs with Nazr. The closest team to the 2004-2005 Suns is the Pistons. Unfortunately neither are deep and that cost them.

I need to put my next paycheck on the Pacers winning the Title next year. That's as close to a lock as it gets. JO, Artest, and Carlos*son are the best trio in the NBA, bar NONE!!

Unless one of the three decides to decapitate Ben Wallace (or something to that effect) and ends up in jail, you'd be making a very wise decision. (H) I have a very, very good feeling about our team this year.

Although that's the same feeling I had at the beginning of 2004, and look what happened. :nape:

I sincerely hope Artest and Carlos*son have their heads screwed on straight for this season. Oh, and Tinsley needs to play 75+ games if we're to go to the Finals.

The Knicks got Q. Rich for Kurt Thomas. Great. Another dumb move from Isiah. He also got 3 first round picks as well. The best one is supposed to be Frye as a center, even though he is supposed to play as a guard.
We need a new coach, quick.

Isiah is going to play him as a shooting guard. :boohoo:
He said he is fine with it but i really doubt he will adopt in that role, well actually get comfy with the NBA period.

naahh.... NY Fries will play PF for the Knicks..... http://www.newyorkfries.com LOL

After selecting Arizona power forward Channing Frye with the eighth pick of the draft, Thomas said his mission this summer is to either sign or trade for a veteran center. The Knicks are targeting three free agents: Washington's Kwame Brown, Seattle's Jerome James and Cleveland's Zydrunas Ilgauskas.

The Knicks are convinced that Frye can step right into the rotation. The 6-11 Frye played center at Arizona, but he will be a power forward in the NBA.

"I see myself as a whatever player," Frye said. "I'm a four, five, three, two. I'll learn how to dribble if you want me to play point guard."

Frye can't play 4, he's going to do a lot better in the league once people realize that. His athleticism and shooting are no where close to where they need to be to play the 4. He's not playing guard, don't be retarded because believing Frye will play guard is just that, RETARDED.

I can't believe Isaiah traded Kurt Thomas for Q. Rich. That's a retarded move. If Nate Robinson doesn't hit it big then he's gonna receive a hell of a lot of heat. But I guess the Suns have to be super happy with this one. They were never gonna win with Q. He shoots to many threes and he's a no show in the playoffs. Kurt should fit in nicely, and with rumors of the Suns supposedly after Finley (if he gets dropped by Dallas) I think the Suns will make an even better push in the postseason.

Q shot threes in Phoenix because that was his only role. Ever seen him play any other season in his career? He's a fantastic slasher and rebounder and certainly not one dimensional or even in love with the three.

according to 'the insider' NY is offering Marbury+filler for Dalembert+filler
wow... Starbury and AI in the same backcourt...I'd like to see this... We might actually witness one player trying to steal the ball from a teammate for the first time ever... Can two selfish players co-exist? LOL

2nd rumor: Marbury+filler for Harrington+collier+delk from ATL

is Zeke stockpiling players for a KG to NY trade??

Chad Ford writes bullsh*t all the time and gets paid for that, too - meh.

If that's true we would have one safe pick for the lottery. Starbury, AI and C-Webb on one team? :wootman:

Zeke will never trade Marbury. He made it clear he considers him the best point guard in the NBA. And them Webber, I3 and Starbury in the same team.....dont be ridicoulos....

Garnett will never come to NY.

Yep, exactly. During the draft he's good (although still full of **** a lot), but during the season there is very little reason to read his column.
