Are they? That is awesome. I'm stoked for the Catholic League. Welcome Creighton, Xavier, SLU, St. Joe's, and Fordham. Keep the public schools out!

Sounds like the Catholic schools will keep the league's automatic bid for the basketball tournament (and soccer, lacrosse, ect.). That basically kills the Big East since those football teams all suck.

Basketball is a pretty cool sport. Bo Ryan rising to the top by whipping a mediocre team that lost its point guard in the preseason into shape and now with two huge wins in 4 days. On the other hand, recruiter extraordinaire (shitty ass coach) Roy "Huckleberry" Williams is going to get his THIRD crack at the NIT as coach of the easiest team to coach in the country.

Anyone interested in doing a Bracket Challenge? The guy who doesn't know anything always wins these things, and SG is an entire message board of those guys.

Yahoo or ESPN?

final four is at the Georgia Dome again this year? I was there last time ... but with Jarrett Carlos, Bynum, Luke Schenscher, and co. having left like 1 or 2 years before that, there was no chance of a home presence at the tournament :bwtf: ... haven't followed NCAA basketball since ...

Did anyone else just see Kevin Ware break his leg in half during the game, the most disgusting injury I have ever seen and I've seen a ton of compound fractures including my own but to see his bone that far out of the skin was unbelievable.

and he was so fucking calm

No. No he was not. Dude was not calm at all, he was screaming and in shock. It happened right in front of his team's bench, here were his teammates

To me the worst part is the player realizing his career is pretty much done just from a split-second unlucky event.

Sure, he can try to come back but who knows at what strength... he's got to sit out sooo long.

it must be because I saw the video without any audio, I've broken several times my arms, not as ugly as that, and I was way less calm than that, but poor man, that was awful

Just from seeing the reaction I don't think I'm interested in seeing the injury...

YELLOW CARD: Untrustworthy
I just saw the replay, damn that is a real horrific and freak injury. We've all seen our share of terrible injuries in football during tackles, so for that to happen while in a bad landing is real awful.

I thought Marcus Lattimore's injury was bad but this is way worse, he was close to having his leg completely detach from his body.
