I am currently working on an NCAA soccer project. Since it is impossible to include all the teams, I am creating only the top 40 or so. Here is what I have so far:

Alabama A&M Bulldogs
Boston College Eagles
Cincinnati Bearcats
Howard Bison
Ohio State Buckeyes
Tulsa Hurricane
West Virginia Mountaineers

I have other uniforms made, such as Dayton, Harvard, and Boston University, I just need to work on rosters. Let me know if you would like to contribute in any way!

When will it be finished???? How can i contribute? I don't make patches:innocent_smile_1: As I suggested in a post earlier the best way to make sure the higher ranked teams do well is to edit there formations and use 4-3-3 for stronger ones and 4-4-2 for weaker teams to ensure realistic results and real lifelike competitions. The kits look great so far. Keep going. PS where is North Carolina Tarheels?

How can I help with the patch? I don't make patches or know how to...I am interested in it though...Great kits so far...ILike i noted in a post before use the 4-3-3 formation instead of personalised formations for realistic results and stadings in the game. Use 4-4-2 for weaker teams...The game will come to life so number one ranked team will have consistent results because of formation and importantly the 4-3-3 formation. It is very good for simulated games as well...insteadof things happening at random where weaker teams continually do well and stronger teams perform poorly...test it and see what happens...

wow, this is some really cool stuff! Sadly, the best I can offer you at the moment is emotional support since I'm working on a patch myself currently as well as a master's thesis, but hopefully I can help you out in the very near future.

Thanks for the compliments! I guess I have made some teams that aren't in the top 40 as well. However, I will use the list Rique posted to make the teams. I just figured out minikits as well, the biggest help I need is stadiums. Very few American stadiums exist (Diggers gave me permission to improve and re-release Dolphin Stadium and Giants Stadium, so I guess there is a start. For the most part, requests for American stadiums are met with silence. So I was thinking we could modify a smaller stadium already in the game to give it a "college campus" type feel? What do you guys think?

nice! I always wanted to do this when I was playing '07 religiously (the last fifa game I bought). Unfortunately, Minnesota has no men's team...
edit: ps I've never seen OSU's kits before. Those are niiiice. Pinhoops = awesome.

I know what you mean about the silence! There was a guy who was able to convert stadiums from Google SketchUp to Fifa style. I requested Cleveland Browns Stadium for my patch last year and the guy who did it posted pics of an almost completed stadium only to go AWOL.

Sometime last year I was trying to figure out a way to export stadiums from Madden and/or NCAA, but failed miserably. It's so bad that hardcore Madden folk couldn't find a way and wondered why it was so open for us Fifa folk, but not Madden (that may have changed, I'll take a look into that).

I think converting the smaller generic stadiums for colleges could be quite simple nowadays. I may be of some help with you on that after my semester ends.

Oh and about that list of teams. That should be fun because you'll probably have a lot of duplicate kits and the like. I think USF have the same kits as BC just a different color scheme.

Yea, I used to be a hardcore Madden modder and everything in Madden is contained within .dat files, which are near impossible to crack. The 3D models in Madden are in the exe itself, so editing those are out of the question. Usually in Madden all you can do is use Texmod to edit what is already in the game, so attempting to convert stuff is unlikely.

Here is a preview of Boston University.

I was going to suggest the google sketchup thing...didn't know the guy went awol!!! I wouldn't loved to have had the brown's stadium...i thought it had been completed by him...However, how abt the RED BULL Arena? HS ANYONE MADE IT YET? I hate that I can't find the stadium makers on here anymore...I'll get college stadium pics for you guys...

Awesome news! I sent you an email with some info and requests, Guima. Preview screens of Virginia, Dayton, Oakland and USF coming soon.

In order, some more screens: the 2009 National Champion Virginia Cavaliers, the Dayton Flyers, and a screen of Digger's improved Dolphin Stadium (Now known as Sun Life Stadium). I am still working on improving and updating textures but that is what it looks like now.

NCAA is college soccer over here in the states. Its not as big as say, college football or basketball, but it's still got a few following. I have finals next week, but after then I will do some more work with this.

Now that my finals are over, I have a chance to work on some more teams and uniforms. If you are reading this, Guima I sent you an email about the stadiums. If anyone else wants to jump in and help convert these stadiums, please help. Not very many American stadiums exist, yet you can find the most obscure stadiums from other countries, and stadiums for every single team in England. Here is the list, if anyone wants to try to take a crack at it. I am terrible at 3-D modeling, so I hope we can find someone who is good at it...

1. Columbus Crew Stadium (Columbus, Ohio)

UCLA's uniforms, regarded by many as the best in the NCAA... The stripes/piping was tough, but I figured it out after lots of trial and error.

Other uniforms I've been working on: Harvard, Duke, Coastal Carolina, Campbell, Berea College. Most of these teams don't have rosters yet, just the generic players CM09 creates automatically. Berea isn't a DI or NCAA team, but my wife goes to this school and I live in town and know most of the players personally.
