People dont rate Nesta nowadays simply because Milan's been conceding too many goals.

Fact is, if Milan didnt have Nesta, Milan would prolly be fighting for fourth spot in the league and not in the QT's of the UCL.

But really, he's the best in his position. The way he defends is all smooth and all. Not bulldog-ish ala Terry or Carragher. More like Zidane but instead of pin-point passing, he has beautiful tackling.

probaly not anybody on the fourums goes he played in Europe in the late 70s early 80s, from what ive heard he had a great career in Italy, consider one of the best headers of the ball in both boxes meaning he was solid in defense an a threat on offence.
