How to change the controls to the new type controls for the pc's gamepad
every time I try to change the game pad's control from clssic to the new type I cant save it to my profile.
please need help I'm playing pes so the new controls will be the best for me

Go to the Folder where your Profile is saved and open the devaux.txt file.
It should look like this.
Logitech Dual Action| 50| 0| 0|

now change the first 0 to 1 (i think the second 0 is for vibration)
Logitech Dual Action| 50| 1| 0|

But this didnt work
I have a usp game pad and paralel port gamepad both looks exactely like the psx pad it is configerd in windows as psxgamepad and usp joystick
I need to play with the new controls type very bad and I like this game.

yes but for me it didnt work every time i try to change it and save it to my profile it gose back to classic controls again I dont know why.

Probably a really stupid question, but I'm having this problem too, was wondering if some could tell me:

1. Where is the file that I need to change stored on an English copy of FIFA 07, installed in the default way?

2. Is there also a way in this to change the 'change player' speed or autoselect, as this is way too high to be playable.

Any word on why we can't just edit and save the profile in game?

I think I've found a better solution, rather than tinkering with the registry. Open control panel, then game controller and write down the name of your controller

Now go to the Folder where your Profile is saved and open the devaux.txt.
Add a line which reads:
<<your controller name>>| 50| 1| 0|

Let me know if it works......

it does work... the first number represents control type and the second is vibration... so 1| 1| would mean new controls with vibration on... it's a shame that vibration doesn't work with my ps2 controller...

Yes it works offline, but in multiplayer it resets back to classic controls. It is driving me crazy :nape:

I have a simple USB joystick without analog... when i add that into the text file ... the system automatically adds "thrusmaster 2 in 1 trigger dual" ... and i cant move my players around ... any suggestions?

Driving me crazy too. Changed my config as I had enough of player switching when tying to tackle so I changed to 'new type'. Spent 2 days getting my finger muscles to learn the new buttons so I can do it without thinking, then I go back online and.....you cant use it! Is there any solving it?
