Well... I had visited a fews sites with previews and articles about the upcoming FIFA 2003 for the past few weeks... And I'm quite impressed with the new features described so far...
After viewing some of the screenshots of the game... I realized that the players' names will be displayed at the back of their jersey... wait a minute... is that one of the new stuff in the game compared to the previous tiltles?... I can't quite remember though cause it's been a long time since i last played FIFA 2002 and World Cup 2002...
But what I really wanna know about FIFA 2003 is that... if the ball will no longer stick to the players' feet... I wonder how am I suppose to control the ball... plus doing some skillful moves with the ball seem to be hard to imagine...
The first FIFA game I played was FIFA 1996... and I followed the FIFA series all the way until now... and I wonder if there are some funky stuff added into the game... like shirt-pulling, hand ball, medical assistance(those ppl who enter the pitch and give treatment to injured players or maybe carry them away from the pitch)... all these incidents happen so frequently in real soccer matches... and definitely with these features added into a soccer PC game... it will probably become a big hit...
Well... I guess you all will think that the and hand ball incident is ridiculous and maybe frustrating in some ways... I agree with that... But shirt-pulling seems quite logical if a defender has the intention to stop an attacker from scoring a goal... especially when there isn't any automatic ball control in the game already... so it's rather useless when you tackle the attacker from behind when the ball is far ahead for instance... hhhmmm.....
