New Guy Needs Help!

I'm new to the game (fifa 2004) and need help. To be honest I really suck at this game. Every time I play the game it ends in a 0-0 draw and I usually lose on penalties! I know that in 2002 fifa world cup (also by ea sports) there was a "beginners" level. Is there a patch or something to at least give me a chance to get use to the game before moving on to the amature level in fifa 2004? Please help if you can, many thanks,

just to let you now, amature is now beginner. They used to have beginner, professional and world class, now they have amature, semi-pro, professional and world class.

Guys: Many thanks one and all! I'll keep practicing, especially passing. Last night I acually beat Arsenal (I was playing as Man Utd) by 2-0. Not much to brag about but it's a great leap forward for me! Thanks again, and for the direct link to the patch.
