Well from what i see, I'm truly disappointed once again. :kader: . Corner kicks are exactly the same, there is hardly anyone in the box. On the top left video, you can hear the comentator say "loses the ball" when the defender just makes a pass to another defender... The only thing that i really see as a change is the graphics and they've added some nice moves. Also, i just noticed that the nets hardly move and the game is really scripted. The movies are with 2 human players, I want to see how the computer plays.

I think that the game is really good, I'm looking forward to FIFA 2005 and PES4:D

you do realise that just because Canada is not in Europe it has no relation to the people working there.

I highly doubt it. This is what fifa 2004 should have been, maybe not graphic wise but the gameplay, most deffinetly. Just look at it, Fifa 2004 is pretty much the beta version of fifa 2005, they're just gonna take your money once again for some piece of S#$% game...

This is not fif's board and don't scream so much.

This year's fifa thing is the last years fifa thing with different rosters.
I don't understand, how does people who like football as a sport in general, can appriciate EA's comercial crap that has nothing to do with football and denie Konami's undoubtfull superiority in the football simulation game turf.
I suppose that mostly some unaware yankees and canadians does that, but why would they play our ''soccer'' anyway. They have ice hockey an baseball thing so do stick with them. Why bother about football.

I thought the gameplay looks much better. In the video with Roma and Juventus, you see Juventus (CPU) really control possession. After they score they seem to really take the air out of the game, switching the ball all over the field, almost to the point of passing up too many shots, this is a massive change from 2004. In the early part of the game they are creating all sorts of chances, varied chances too. The AI seems miles better. IMO the CPU's inability to control possession is what made FIFA so easy in the past. You could have possession 65-70% of the game every time out, and thus you created so many chances that you end up scoring 5-6 goals every game. With the CPU keeping more possession, your possession will be become much more vital. This could be the change that makes the game. And the first touch looks great as well.

Ok, maybe I was too harsh on that.
Apologies to all americans and canadians. I take my word back. there's lot of people in Europe too fanboing fifa and talking rubbish on that matter.
But I think it's no secret no noone why I said that. Everyone knows, that in USA baseball and american football is absolute leaders in the sport popularuty tables, NBA and even more the NHL thing is loosing hevily to those two. As for football (soccer), it's equaly unknown and mostly ignored in USA as baseball in europe. Canada, well they're more or less into the ice hockey (It's actually my second favourite team sport) and for football, there has never been any huge boom of popularity of it.
So, what's my point. Only that, what I said, It's better give to develop a footbal simulation game to people who are really devoted and deeply familiar with the sport, not to more or less ignorant and north american trended EA company.

there are alot more soccer fans in the U.S. than you think. It just isn't popular because the MLS is crappy and all the good U.S. players go to europe.

fifa will be better than you think this year. Trust me.:mrpimp:
