New Kit Preview Files Thread

u guys don't do antialiasing..which really makes a difference..
i've been making my own menu kits..so i also have experience..

but an easy way to get antialiasing if ur using PSP:

1.) create a new image with background color being the same as the background color of the jersey ur using from the net
ex. if u get ur images from Subside, the background color will be white

2.) get image, resize, and paste on top of white background, u should have only one layer right now

3.) after all kits have been done, take the magic wand. go to the tool options menu, and set it to Brightness, and tolerance any where from 0-10

4.) select the background color

optional step -- 4b.) go to the selections menu, and go to modify, and click on expand. set the pixel value to 1.

5.) go back to the selections menu, go to modify, and click on feather. enter either 1, 2, or 3....i use 2

6.) go back to selections, and click on invert

7.) copy the selected area

8.) create a new image and make it 256x256 with the background color transparent

9.) paste the image on the transparent area and make sure u have it fit in the right spot (i have a .psp file with a layer that has red boundary lines so i know the area in which i can put the kit, i suggest u make one also :))

these next steps are critical

10.) save the file as a .PNG BUT make sure u have two layers: Layer 1 = the selected portion u just pasted on, and Background = the transparant area. also make sure that the Layer 1 is above the Background layer

11.) when u save, click on Save as PNG file, then go to the options tab, and click on run optimizer, and don't make any changes, just go there. i've tried making the kit without doing this..and the transparant area doesn't show up

and that's it... eleven steps to make antialiasing on menu kits
it's actually very easy to fix up ur guys' kits already...all the ones i got from u don't have AA, so added AA in about 2 minutes.
i don't know if it makes a difference in the game, but i suggest u do it anyway

and i hope noone uses this text and publish it as a tutorial and stating that they wrote it

anyway..keep doing these...looks like ur the only one doing menu kits as a hobby, so u guys are the only sources for menu kits

what i would like to see is huge menu kit patch that u can download and run with an executable

I already installed most of your mini-kits, but all looked like this in-game :(

Could anyone tell me how to put it right??

Thanks in advance
