Because he's a stupid lying f*cker. Lets take one of his whiny comments for example.
"I won't sign for another Premiership club because I can't imagine myself playing against Arsenal. I would only want to play abroad."
Why the **** did you go meet Chelsea then? I highly, highly doubt that he "walked into the meeting by accident".
And Kenyon is a classless **** to be spreading stories. He's been shooting his mouth off about how Wenger's failed as a manager, the club is in cliques and there's no team harmony - I mean what the ****? Who are you to be saying **** about another club and use one of their own players to do it?
Anyway, there are four ****s who are telling lie after lie to the media, but it's good the club hasn't gotten too deep into this. I believe the board's acted properly this time.
And about the contract offer: here's the story. Shock horror, you'll find there was no actual contract offer made by the board, nothing was promised as you like to think.
Dein and Barnett had a meeting weeks before the incident regarding Cole's new deal. Barnett said they wanted no less than 60K.
Dein agreed and said he'd ask the board for 60K. Cole knew nothing about the figures yet.
The Board wanted to give Cole no more than 55K. Dein told Barnett this. Barnett gets pissed and tells Cole.
And there you have it. No formal contract was offered to Cole. He's a **** because if he loved the club so much he'd have taken the 55K, especially seeing it was still more than twice what he was being paid currently. And don't say it's a matter of principle, because it's not. No guarantees were made by Dein, and yet the uber **** Barnett wants to milk the most money he possibly can and screws his client up, badly.
If you want the full story behind this (full transcript of commission findings) I'll gladly post it.
And whats with the "idiots"? You're certainly not one to be calling anyone that...
