New Kits 2007/2008

I think that Argentina kit is an insult to their rich football culture...

That kit looks so freaking generic!

And I loved the previous one...one of the best National Team kits ever in my opinion. Just a wondereful kit.

And now for Argentina to wear THAT....just an insult...:(

PUMA kits for Ghana 2008 unveiled

PUMA have released their new kit designs for the eight teams in their stable at the 2008 African Nations Cup finals in Ghana next year.
The sportswear giant act as technical supplier to Angola, Cameroon, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Togo, Egypt and Tunisia, half of the 16-team field at the tournament that runs from January 20 to February 10.

Each team has a new shirt, which features anatomically placed seams and raised front collar for superior aerodynamics, as well as ergonomically placed stretch insert 'flex bow' for ideal freedom of movement.

PUMA will also be unveiling new shirt designs for its teams, including World champions Italy, taking part in Euro 2008.

The away shirts are part of PUMA’s v1.08 collection that will be launched globally in January 2008, featuring lightweight moisture-wicking materials, mesh layers and welded-technology in its performance apparel pieces.

The shirts provide improved freedom of movement and fit from older versions, including special back construction with two-piece mesh fabric.

The inner mesh layer includes small holes and is hydrophilic – thereby absorbing water and wicking away a player’s sweat, while the outer layer provides the ideal smooth surface to print the player names and numbers.

Jew boy

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar a player for Ajax Amsterdam. Ajax Amsterdam fan's nickname...wait for it.... THE JEWS. So my friend he was right you know nothing about banther, it wasn't anti-semit, it was anti-ajax! Let us all smile again!

"The Ajax fans have developed the tradition of using Jewish and Israeli symbols to express their allegiance, despite being almost entirely non Jewish in their composition. Regularly, the supporters wave large Star of David flags and scream Joden! Joden! ("Jews! Jews!") to fire up their team. Die-hard Ajax supporters call themselves "F-Siders" or "Joden" — Dutch for "Jews" — a nickname that reflects both the team's and the city's Jewish heritage. This nickname for Ajax fans dates back to before World War II, when Amsterdam was home to most of the Netherlands' 140,000 Jews and the Ajax stadium itself was located near a Jewish neighborhood. Most Dutch Jews were murdered by the Nazis during the occupation, and today very little remains of Amsterdam's old Jewish quarter. But the tradition at Ajax survived. Ajax currently has no Jewish players, the last player with any Jewish roots being Daniël de Ridder."[IMG]http://img521.imageshack.us/img521/8417/fside7yd5.th.jpg[/IMG]

I know this already. Just because Ajax has a jewish tradition does NOT make it okay to use anti-semetic slurs, even if they are directed towards the club or its players and not directly at people of jewish ancestry. Just because everyone else does something doesn't make it right. Yes, every PSV and Feyenord hooligan calls them the "jews". I will still take on every PSV or Feyenord fan or any other bastard I ever hear use that word in such a way. For the record, I do not personally believe that Ajax supporters should so readily use the term "jew" either, but they are using it as a badge of pride, not a demeaning slur. The difference is subtle, but it exists.
Now, I am done discussing this matter.

I know, it's really getting out of hand. I half expect a "derby day" from Sevilla (and their 19 kits) or someone of their ilk.

Dortmund tradition :p

4 outfield kits are nothing compared to Sevilla

I don't think you are ignorant. i just think you should relax, i'm sure centuries of persecution would leave me jumpy to, but in this case the word has nothing to do with the jewish people, just a soccer club, so there is no need for all this, plus "the jews" are hollands most successful club, so i'm sure mister psv is just jealous!

I've got the Wales v Rep. Ireland game on Sky at the moment, Wales wearing a new Kappa kit in all red with white triangles on the sides, similar style to the current 3rd kit (but with different collar style), but Rep. Ireland wearing a curious dark grey 3rd kit in the typical Umbro style, with green and white trim.

Sorry no pics yet, will post them up when I see them.

EDIT - Found pics.....

More pics of the greek jersey.

Every player will have a different part of the greek hymn on the jersey. On the back is written ELLAS with gold letters. You can also see the greek flag on the jersey like a "watermark".

New Netherlands Away kit:

The Colour is called in dutch "nassaublauw", a colour who is connected to the
royal house. The 3 colours at the center of the shirt, are the colours of the national flag of the Netherlands.

There is also a special Nike Dry-Fit system, which is better for the perspiration. So the shirt will keep cleaner, cooler and lighter. At the back of the shirt there is a special thing established that will reduce the body temperature.

There are also the two first lines of the national hymne on the inside of the collar with the tekst “Wilhelmus van Nassouwe, ben ik, van Duitsen bloed, den Vaderland getrouwe, blijf ik tot in den dood.”
