I meant the colour of the shirt was the red colour that they had worn prior to Nike becoming suppliers after Euro 96. Between 1996 and 2003, and 2006-2007, the colour was more like maroon/burgundy, not the "usual" red.

You can't do a lot with tradition, more than likely the next Milan kit will be the red and black stripes applied to the latest Adidas template. Having seen some of the latest national team shirts I have a fear that Adidas are going to ruin the back of the Milan kit again with some stupid UEFA-friendly plain bit on the back for the number. This season's shirt already got ruined with that massive red splodge on the back.

Milan are with Adidas till 2017, so don't see much changing in designs, I do prefer the collared version like the ones currently......IMO, maybe just change sponsors in the coming years(I don't really like bwin).....

So basically ALMOST identical to the World Cup thing, eh? To some extent, I'd like to see more green...stripes, or long patches or something...to incorporate more of their flag on the jersey. It really helps separate their colors from Australia's which are quite similar. HOWEVER, they have gone overboard with the green at times and made it look very gaudy(2002 ugliness).

In terms of football, Brazil and Australia are separated by nature, no chance of any confusion

It's simple, Brazil's kit has blue shorts and white socks with it, the Aussie kit is a different shade of yellow, almost amber, and has dark green shorts. They're not alike.

this new brazil kit (which is slightly darker than usual) is almost identical shade to the new aussie kits (which is slightly lighter than usual)...
