Joma must be significantly cheaper. Sevilla fans have been asking for a new company for years. We've also been asking for 0 Spanish flags on our kits. Alas, every year we're stuck with Joma and a bigger flag than ever before.
it adds nothing to the the aesthetic value, and is especially unnecessary since you guys are Andalucians ... did they not see which flag Sergio Ramos draped around his shoulders after the EURO 2008 final?

Betis wears green and white, so we'll never have Andalucia's colors on our jerseys.

yup, I realize that, of course ... my point was not that Joma should have put green and white, but that they should have realized that flag colours are completely unnecessary on the kit due to political complexities ...

and also, Sevilla are not the flag bearers of Spain (which would be the league champions Real; or in just the UEFA Cup, CdR champions Valencia), so it seems an unnecessary and gimmicky addition ...

Yes, but it is just our home kit redesigned to meet UEFA regulations.
All it is; the Home kit, with an all-black panel where the numbers go, instead of the usual stripes.

I think he might be talking about the rumoured brown kit that was supposed to be the colour for the away kit as requested by Pirelli ... the away kit ended up having brown trim, and brown shorts ... but I don't know if they ended up using brown for the third kit -- or even a special European/cup away ... don't think so, but I'm not 100% sure ...

something that is supposed to look like this:

(it's a fake, I know ... this is just to illustrate my point ...)

Fulham 3rd 08/09...

feeling a little déjà vu:

i like teamwear for pub teams or even lower division sides, but this is surely embarassing for the top level clubs ...

^ well, the problem with Fulham wearing Nike is that their kit deal is an indirect one: it's actually the Just Sport Group who sponsor and supply Fulham with Nike Teamwear ...

their home kit this season is actually the latest 2008 template, so it seems in-keeping with the current crop of teams wearing nike ... and you have to admit, it does look good ... and the fact that LG's colours are kept in-keeping with the colours of the club really does help ...

but then the away kit is the red and black Nike Harlequin template -- the same one they used for their home kit in the 2007/08 season ... and I've already made my thoughts clear on their latest third kit ...

in terms of the overall appeal of the kit, yep, I gotta agree ... looking at just England alone: Mitre hooked up Ipswich with a sweet and simple design for their home kit last season ... Champion (via JJB) have made a pretty nice Wigan home strip this season ... Cantebury's foray into football has been quite impressive (talking 'bout Pompey's away kit last season, and this season's home kit)...

but obviously Fulham's suits don't really care about design as much as they do about their best financial package: I mean, I'm sure there were offers from smaller kitmakers, but I guess they feel they'll sell more kits if they're branded with Nike's swoosh rather than a lesser-known logo ... but football is a business, so I suppose we can't blame them ...
