the problem comes when you share songs, I don't think they can get you just for downloading them (at least not yet, but they are trying) because that's invasion of privacy.
But like I said first, they are mainly looking for file sharers :S
And I don't think deleting the songs will solve the problem, once you share or receive them you leave a some kind of "digital" blueprint because they get your ip and isp and all that crap

thats the problem...i just kept all the songs i downloaded in the "My Shared Folder" folder.
