That's a good start.

My first sigs weren't nearly as good. Just try to learn with some tutorials and don't be afraid to make experiments with different things. Also, try to look at, for example, Anthony's sigs, and you'll get some ideas of good colour combinations and such. One small thing I can think of right away to make it look better - borders. Just makes the sig look more in tact.
