New spanish speaking commentators

according to FifaMexico.Net, FIFA has new spanish speaking commentators, they're from the Mexican TV company Televisa. They're Enrique Bermudez and Ricardo Pelaez.

Dont know if its true, it says their source is EA Sports. I also dont know if its just in Mexico, this side of the world, or for everyone. But heres the info for anyone interested.

Sweet finally some Mexican narrators for the Mexican league because those two

Spanish narrators didn't cut it for me.... :rockman: :rockman: :rockman: :rockman:

Jorge Ramos from the Copa Libertadores is one of the best narrators IMO....

Finally we'll be able to hear a nice scream of Gooooooool!!!! and a Sanbombazooo...hehehe, and also "Donde las arañas hacen su nido" and a lot of nice phrases. For all the guys (not from Mexico) who hasn't hear the voice of El Perro Bermudez, believe me it's gonna be cool.

Those really are very good news!

Will there be "apodos" for the players? I would love to hear:

"Se la lleva Chamagol!"
"El Pony! El Pony!, Que Gol!"
"Que tiro del Pity!"

...and so many others...

That would be so Kick-ass.

Anyway, Good News!

Mmmm how many people can understand those guys wordplays and are into all their nicknames? Just mexicans...
I wonder how ESPN commentators Luis Omar Tapia and El matador Kempes were not the best choice...
Anyway anything is better than those spaniards and their terrible jokes (I wanted to write some of them but the risk of being killed by my keyboard is too much)

Yes...I posted this last week and it is great news. I would think that they might keep this for Latina America and Spain as well...it would be pretty stupid of EA sports to have different spanish commentary in Spain and the rest of Latin America. Even thought I really enjoy Enrique Bermudez....I would want 100 times more Jorge Ramos from Radio Unica...that guy is the BEST spanish commentary anywhere. If you listen to him do the play by play ...it gives you the chills...I swear...even if its not a team you like..the way he calls the plays and the goal...it gives you the chills...I mean it!

I guess ur right. I just hope EA didnt write a script for him but instead actually let him say things he naturally says. And I, much like Shiryu, hope that he actually refers to the mexican league players like he does in real life. Like calling him "Kikin" instead of Fonseca.

Mexican commentators sound great, but mexican spanish is one of the most recognizable and unique forms of language...not exactly what a game like fifa needed (just like the spanish in Argentina). Of course it would be great if every league has its own people with thier own nicknames and wordplays but EA is too lazy :ewan:
ESPN is more universal and people from every corner of latin america would be able to listen and enjoy the match.
BTW I have heard in one of these forums that EA bought the rights of ESPN...maybe
