New things in WE9 PS2 Japan version

I dont have a PS2 myself and i havent played the game yet...but i found many people already talking about the game on some local newsgroups...

There is a new situation in the game, when a player is injured but no foul is given, there will be a exclaimation mark. The injured player lying on the ground and the match goes on. If you, P1, kick the ball out for a throw, the computer will give the ball back to your keeper after the throw in. But if they kick the ball out, u can select not to give them back the ball.

also, some players would have their shirt covering their shorts instead of putting the shirt inside the shorts, like what Ruud usually does.

I just heard that there is Hong Kong NT in the game but we cant use them. We can only play against HK NT while playing with Japan to challenge in the World Cup...

Yeah, Konami don't do too much in the Nippon Challenge mode alone . I thought other major Asian NT WC Qualifying can play part in the other modes.

I'm still thinking whether I still have to purchase it. It's shipping to the stores worldwide now...

the coolest part so far is derby matches.

try Milan vs Inter and you see the crowds with the choreographs and all.. SUPERB

He is talking about the movement in WE9. I heard that also.
Okay, you are now attacking towards the right side, when you press the Up Arrow and try to move to the left, which is the upper position on the screen, it appears like you are pressing R2+Up Arrow in WE8 moving the ball sidewards instead of turning to the left and dribble towards. Get it?

Someone said its more handy and some may think its worse coz we get used to the WE8 movements.

Yeah, I know. Hong Kong is one of the place I find lots of WE fans around there. In Indonesia alone, they have 8 or 9 different CD WE8 patches in about 1 year. In fact, one of the 8 CD patch they sell it for just $1, they have Indonesia NT & the WC Qualifying.

Yeah, it's just pure crap. I was really excited too when I see one screenshot having the list of WC Qualifying Group Asian countries. Konami only cares about their Japan NT. At least Konami should have realized the game has been totally well known worldwide & sells alot.
