New with a serious question..

Hey guys,

I am pretty new to soccer gaming as a whole, lthought ive been on the pitch every since I was born. anywho, I opted out from buying a ps3 and xox360 and bought a pretty expensive but beautifully put toghter PC. Now my question is, is PES 2008 going to be able to utilize my computers power? (which far exceeds the ps3 AND xbox 360 combined!) or am i going to be sold a PS2 port? Is fifa gonna give pc owners a next gen beauty?

I am little confused as to what to purchase..but i am not going to purchase any of the games if i m going to be playing ps2 style games. It's like usuing regular gas in a covertte, doesnt make sense..

Heres some hope for Next gen catching on in the pc world! any help would be greatly appreciated.

PES 2008 for PC will be next-gen (I'm pretty sure) ;) It'll be fantastic, don't buy FIFA 08, it will be the same like 07, 06, 05... PS 2 port :/

Yes!! I agree with the majority of the people in the world in saying that PES is a much better soccer game compared to fifa,(from the people I've talked to, if you really know the game of soccer and/or play is you prefer PES..if your a casual fan Fifa is for you) I just wouldn't even bother buying any of them if I had a dream machine of a PC..and I'd be playing Ps2 style games.

Don't get me wrong Fifa is a good game, and the only real clear distinct advantage is the loads of official teams and kits..but PES 2008 has enough for me. Fifa just gets way to repetitive for me, its the same game over and over.

I am glad the PC version will be next GEN graphics, about damn time these companies take advantage of the power.
