Newbie: 2gk error - please help

When I try to import a 2gk bmp (512 x 1024) with Kit Raptor 2gk, I keep getting an error that says "Bitmap must be 256x512". I know I'm probably asking a stupid question, but am I doing something wrong? I can only import bmp's if I first reduce the size to 256x512. Shouldn't I be able to import a 512 x 1024 size image?

this may sound stupid as well but are you sure you have kit raptor 2gk?

Curswine is right ...dont sound like 2GK raptor to me either ...........I gk kits are 256x512..........so it sounds like you have got i gk kit raptor

It looks like it is kit raptor 2gk. The exe file is labeled "KitRaptor2GK2004.exe" The version of the program is 2.0.0.19, file size is 3,321,642 bytes.

Does that sound right?

I figured out what happened. I downloaded the correct 2gk kit raptor originally. However, I ended up with the wrong kit raptor fix. It looks like I had a 1gk kit raptor fix file. When I went to check again from socceraccess and download the fix from filefront, it pointed me to the wrong file. I ended up finding the corrent fix file from FIFA-MANIA.
