and come on Pete, stop posting here and go work on that tool :p :rockman: :rockman:

I totally agree with the great work there, guys. Makes a person happy that we can at least make something new in the way of more stadiums. :D

As for getting off your butt, Pete, I have to side with Hakeem here, let's have it and soon, please. This will mean a new day for a lot of stadium makers, even I might get back into this field after Fifa 2000.....but was too lazy as I couldn't figure out how to do it properly...but if it becomes available I might force myself off my ass and do some work...... :mrpimp:

If there is a tool to convert, then I might have to look at doing Goodison Park, so you can have Home AND Away derbys...

The day version of St James is great, good work :) I will have to look at the night version now.

Hey Rhizome,

How are you dude ?!
I hope all is ok.

To everyone, make stads in the old Fifa2002 fashion.
WE CAN UPGRADE THEM. And soon with an ECP tool more people will be able to do it easily. The tool we have now covers 1 part of the upgrade. We will release a tool when we expand it to the whole proces (if possible).

There is one different approach in making a 2002-stadium for 2003 use, make sure ALL your textures fit into one texture of 512x512 pixels.

Rhizome, if you want to do Goodison park, and you do it with that quality of your anfield, then ECP will surely upgrade it ASAP its ready.

Greetz,
RP

PS : Thank AYD !! he's the wizzard who found it all (based on Fifamania's technologie, we're very honest in that !).

Reebok.....??

For ECP\Realpete...

I downloaded the Reebok Stadium, itself converted from TCM2003 to fifa 2002, and it looks great, but I wanted to attempt a conversion to Fifa2003 with no luck!! (Not nearly clever enough!)

I have the file I can send if you want to try this stadium, Id love to try it out in Fifa 2003.

@ Corky

The trouble is the same as the new TCM stadiums. Yea we all can PLAY them in Fifa2002. But nobody was able to edit them !
Why ? Because they are different files then FifaMania's G2002 files.
Thats also the reason why we can't upgrade them to 2003.

I hope its clearer now.

yes, all hail AYD!!!:D

And on a similar note, this stadium will be included in the CL patch due to be released very soon.....

And Newcastle will play in it!

@RealPete- Crafty EA:rolleyes:
The FIFA and TCM devs are working closer together now so hopefully in future releases the stadiums might be made to the same format- hopefully you might get some proper tools to work with.
Just at a game at St James(day)- looks terrific :)

Hi Pete

Just getting my way back into Fifa, haven't really looked at it for 6 months or so, too many other things plus PC hassles. But I will see what I can do with Goodison. I noticed that there were not too many textures in the St. James file, so again will see what I can do. btw I am choosing Goodison, because Everton did so well in the EPL and it will complement the Anfield for those who play the derby games. Then will look at Man City. Have to go and re-download all the old Fifa2002 tools now, gone in my last reformat.

One question though: what about the crowds? Are they done the same way as in 2002? Should I use the ECP crowd generator?

@ Rhizome

Crowds work differently then in 2002.
But we've adapted the ECP-Crowdmaker to 2003.

So don't worry about it :rockman:

:( Why do you guys made the stadium at the place of Santagio Bernabeu? :( If you made it in place of one of the generic Stadiums it would be downloaded more!

Guys, chill,

We picked that stadium bc we liked the pitch for St-James.
NO you can't rename it !

BUT : just copy the bernabeue in some backup folder for now.
Its all pointed out in the installer, so read it.

ECP Enhancer is set to be released together with the UCL-ECP-Patch.
This tool will make it possible to replace bernabeu with St-James when you play with St-James (example : homematch from Newcastle).

For the oldskool guys the tool works like good old FifaFX with many more features.

Have fun,
RP
