****e first half from our point of view but we completely stopped Arsenal playing in the second half and deservedly won in my opinion. By the way Parker should be awarded player of the season now, captain material next season.

Time to crack open the Newcastle broon i think lads :D

If Arsenal had a slight chance in the first half, then apart from great Toure run near the end of the game, they did absolutely nothing. Newcastle had them the full 45 minutes and Arsenal were lucky to have it 1-0.

Shearer is a ****. Should have been sent off.

Patker is amazing. What do you guysthink are his chances of playing in the WC. I think he was what you guys need in the middle. He can play that Makalele role perfectly and Lampard can benefit from it and that is scary for all teams that have to play England.

SGE doesn't rate him, so he might make the squad but unlikely to start.

Parker will make the England squad if he moves to Manchester United in winter. I still do not get, why we never looked at him? He was superb at Charlton, he was great at Chelsea and he is awesome at Newcastle and Ferguson still keeps on saying that there is no one that could solve our midfield problem :kader: .

Parker was superb yesterday. So was the whole Newcastle team. Arsenal lost their heads though.

yeah he gets away with so much bullsh*t. He pushes defenders to win headers, makes terrible challenges, commits fouls which would get someone like Davids sent off but just because its Shearer he stays on without even a yellow.

Unbelievable. The referees should know the kind of player he is by now :| yet nothings ever done.

Gilberto got sent off for much less. Newcastle should have been down to 9 men really.

You are right, I would give up half our team to have a player with so much passion and pride. Hell, most of our team doesnt have 1/4 of what scott parker has. :(
