sorry for the repeated posts, but here is the main evidence why i don't trust EA and thus i don't wait for a "Brand New Game!"... as i have read, FIFA 11 IS NOT PORTED from console versions, but made with a new NG Engine... and according to this ss, i am still skeptikal about the result of the final release...

the second pic is FIFA 09 dude..:clapwap:

yeah, imagine how better fifa 11 will look... even fifa 09 looks better than this PC ss, although we know nothing for the moment...

both brother. the gp is that that made this game one of the most popular and rewarded games for the PS3 and xbox and the graphics are really breath-taking.... I own a PS3 and the only reason I still play fifa pc is the modding, nothing more...

According to Wikipedia Liga Sagres is not included in FIFA11. I know its not sure yet, but if its true, Im very disappointed.

FIFA 11 finished !

Ian Jarvis about this :

You couldn't be more right. Just finished the credits today actually so the end is in sight.

Once we get the new forum going for FIFA 11 PC and you guys have played the game, we should start a new thread for FIFA 12 as I'd be interested to hear ideas (and all the colorful comments that I'm sure some people will have (as they always do) ).

=> FIFA 11 - we are eleven <=

We Are Eleven just arrived on the net with a countdown very interesting. It ends at the close of the Gamescom provided in seven days. Finally, it is indeed a site reserved by EA.

FIFA 11 main man David Rutter tweeted that the FIFA 11 demo will be announced this Tuesday, a day before Gamescom starts!

I’ll let you all speculate when it might come, as there’s a good chance it might be coming sooner than you all think…

console, unfortunately...

yes sir & for that i am retiring & heading over to consoles.

after being left out on a good fifa game since 07, & now to know ill be a year behind again means ive had enough.

being its a completely new game w/ not 1 line of code from a previous game,
there is no way for me to replicate personality plus in the ai, like i have now
currently for my game (a type of personality plus anyway).

so its ps3 for me, unless pc miraculously get personality plus, 360 degree battling & cpu skill moves like consoles, which i highly doubt we will.

only thing im gonna miss is the modding & having my game fully licensed.

but for a much better game its worth it.

i have been playing fifa 10 for xbox 360 & yea its much better than pc version, but at the same time it has nothing on the new fifa 11.

personality plus will make a huge difference in the gameplay along w/ 360 degree battling & the cpu skill moves.

fifa 10 console ai isnt any better than pc, w/ the exception of players making smarter runs & more realistic ball physics.
players & teams still play like they are all twins of each other, same build up, same speeds, no difference at all.

imo, fifa 11 for pc is truly nothing to be excited about, unless pc get the same features.

First information about the new features which will be introduces on the gamescom have been announced at the gamescom press conference of Electronic Arts:

# Be A Goalkeeper
The name sounds a bit like Be A Pro - but until now it was only possible to play the 10 players on the pitch. A new feature in FIFA 11 will be, that it will be possible to controll the goal keeper, too.

# 11v11 Online Play
With the help of Be A Goalkeeper it is possible to play 11vs11 games in the internet. The very first time in a soccer computer game it is possible to controll all 22 players on the pitch by 22 different players.

Furthermore there are some detailled information about the FIFA 11 Demo: The FIFA 11 Demo will be released on 15th September for PS3 and on 16th September for Xbox 360 and PC. These teams are included: FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayer 04 Leverkusen, Olympique Lyon, FC Chelsea and Juventus Turin!

Finally: FIFA 11 will be officially released on 30th September 2010.

I agree that personality plus, 360 degree battling, and the cpu skill moves are huge and if they aren't on the PC, i'd be bummed. frankly, i expect those things to be in the PC version. EA has claimed that the PC version isn't going to be shafted. More than that cat i am just hoping that they have fixed some of the little things, like the CPU subbing bug, like some the problems people have had in leagues with first or second legs of qualifying matches being played but not counted, etc from fifa 10 that were annoying.

so i am still holding out hope that the PC version will get all these things and have a polished game out of the box with the same or better modding effects that fifa 10 had. but we simply don't know what EA will do and how good the PC version will be.

as far as it "being a completely new game w/ not 1 line of code from a previous game", that does concern me from a modding standpoint. but EA has said they won't intentionally prohibit modding. frankly i dont know how that you don't have 1 lone of code from a previous game. i don't see how that's possible to build a game from scratch. i would think probably most or some of the same parameters from past games will be there, but it may be a much different game with it's own brand new problems to try to solve through modding, which may be hard.

I don't see how you can say that a console version of fifa 10 is better than the PC version? with all your PC modding experience, you know this to be false. The PC version of FIFA 10 is far superior to the console version. the console versions of the game are tech demos. unless you can mod console games, i don't see how people get any satisfaction out of the console versions of fifa. the pc version of fifa 10 i have made to be unbelievably epic. it took a lot of hard work and a lot of testing but now it's worth it. i'm using manual goalkeeper control now and really finally have hit my stride in terms of gameplay tuning for fifa 10.

it's not any better. it's slightly more polished in some areas as you say, but in the fifa version you can adjust all these parameters to make the ball physics better than the console version.

This is something that is very important. i have noticed that you have to use correct sets of values rather than maxing out or zeroing out a parameter's value to make players and teams play like themselves. formation and team styles make a huge difference too. this can be corrected through modding on the pc version, and cannot be solved on the console version. another reason why the pc version is far superior to the console version and has more replay value and longevity.

Yeah i'm on the fence on this too. i am holding out hope, but i'm sure it won't be perfect. hopefully it has the main features of the console versions. They said it would. we'll soon find out, but even if it sucks fifa 10 is a game i could play forever it's that good. not perfect but with enough testing you can solve a lot and i mean a lot of its problems.
