Next gen FIFA is hard, please help

I know. I'm a disgrace, I'm a loser. But I'm no FIFA master. So while most of you are happy with how this game is now. It's frustrating to me. I'm good for defense, I just can' score. The opposing defenders are so far up your butt and give you no room on any setting. Running up the flank and crossing for header used to be a scoring play on the PS2, but on the 360, controlling crossing and heading are touchier, not to mention the defender almost always gets his head on it instead. I guess my lack of skill on the new FIFA shows I never really knew how to really play the game of soccer. Any tips?

Just try not to play it like the old fifas you need to pass the ball around alot to find the space needed to score

and keep going you woll love it in the end.......

Start at the lowest difficulty and work your way up. Thats what i did.
