Leak is a legend, I was at Garinger when he was at Independence (high schools in Charlotte, NC), he used to kill every team, I mean kill them.

Yeah I caught his last two seasons too while I was at North Meck, those games were just nasty :(

I know, I know. He's got a mean arm, and he can throw into coverage without even seeing his target properly. Don't know how he does it, but oh well. He is good.

Heh, I guess that Rex' decisions rating is going to take another tumble. He actually threw bad passes now, not only into double coverage, but off his target too.

Great game for the Colts though, they never looked like losing the game, even early in the 1st quarter they showed they'd stick around to win. Oh well, there's always next year. :(

Damn, that was one crazy start of the game. The 2nd half was kinda boring though, the Colts did a great job managing the game from those moments on. They came up with some huge plays (Y) Anyone could've been MVP on that team. But fair play to Manning.

the first quarter alone had more highlights than the other 3 quarters combined :p didn't care who won, I wanted to see a Colts vs Bears match back during week 5 or 6 when they were both dominating... didn't disappoint, great game despite the ****ty ass weather conditions... Peyton (Y) deserved a title after all these years, but MVP? don't think so, would've given it to Rhodes or Addai... maybe make them co-MVPS

Peyton is gonna get his ring in two weeks. There's no way in hell the Bears are winning a Super Bowl with Rex Grossman as the QB (just like the Panthers will never win one with Delhomme).

We didn't only lose because of Rex. Both defenses were a bit out of character. Theirs was good against our (single) RB, and ours was piss poor at medium length 3rd downs.

i couldn't help feel sorry for Rex after the second INT. didnt know MVP would get that damn car though. does Manning really need it? :(

newbie original

We apologize for keeping the yellow too long
Yellow Card
Go get another QB...Garcia, Culpepper/Harrington. Their running game should have been better though...I guess the writing was on the wall when you draft Cedric Benson (I think) 4th overall and slide him in as the........BACKUP!

Jones has better efficiency as a starter right now, and Benson is a great option with very different style. Together they would have been great in this game too.

I agree with coach Smith about Grossman. Had he pulled him at any point during the season, Grossman would have been totally done for. This way he's soaking up experience and he might turn up as a different QB next year. Might.

The offensive coordinating unit of the Bears couldn've been more retarded......Not just in this one game but all season long. I realize that Rex made some inexcusible ****ups this season at inopportune times, but the offensive scheme that is designed for him is an absolute joke. It's simplistic, unimaginitive and ineffective. This is no chump, this Rex kid. It's just that he's been unfortunate to be forced to run an inept scheme.

Put him in a system similar to that run by Spurrier when he was in college and you'll see a much different signal caller.

When your D/Special teams unit is competing with you for points scored, you know you've got some serious issues that go way, way beyond your QB, man.

One last thing.........why the **** didn't they incorporate Hester into the offense more? What an epic waste of such a talent being relegated to just the kick returning, eh?

How about those 5/1 odds that came out after Peyt finally fcked the SP in the ass?

*huge sigh*

Mr. Marty was supposed to be fired on Jan. 15...our "organization" is pure mierda.

Isn't anybody anxiously awaiting the draft? Of course you are.

Rd Pk (Ov) Player Pos School
1 30 (30) Craig Davis WR LSU
2 5 (37) Eric Weddle CB Utah
3 33 (96) Anthony Waters LB Clemson

me like me draft. (Y) We drafted positions that need upgrade, first with someone to complement Vicent Carlos*son, and then(H) I think we hit the lotto with this Weddle (sounds like 'wero') kid, and at the end we pulled a 'Cromartie' with this ghost...who sounds like a very good player.

Now, I guess a DT, G/T, and maybe a LS. (H)

Randy Moss traded to the Patriots for theior forth round pick.
Interesting, even though i thought Bellicik likes more 'ethical' type of guys.

True but he believes that if he brings in people of questionable character, he can get them to buy into how the Patriots do things (i.e. Corey Dillon). Good riddance is all I have to say but if Moss shows up in New England ready to play, the Patriots are going to be damn good considering the other moves they've made this offseason.
