all of the nhl series games (nhl 2004, 2005) are all crap and they're not realistic at all. get the nhl2k3 series, those are the realistic games

I used to play the NHL series, but I got more into FIFA, my friend bought NHL 2004 and said he hated it and returned it.

NHL 2004 was ******* awesome, man. Except for maybe the oppressing defence of style the game had. Anyway, I got this fantastic summer home as a parting gift from the Thrashers organization after my 25yrs of marvelous managing was up

from a true hockey fan: the Sega Sports 2K series is wayyyy better than EA's NHL serier... if you're into actual gameplay

if you're into franchise and online mode, get NHL 2005... if you like gameplay aspects, get NHL 2K5

i have NHL 2004 and i gotta say its much better then the NHL 2002 i had, much more realistic, much more realistic

still has some bugs and stuff, but overall the gameplay is good, the new fighting system kicks a$$
