so now I've seen this goal by the AI a lot, a shot from outside the box hits the crossbar on top, my goalie dives and lays on the ground while their attackers rush to the ball and score an easy goal while everyone on my team watches. That was 1 cheap goal. I still scored a hat trick with Henry, 3-2 vs Fulham. They had one good goal where they got past me, but all 3 of my Henry goals were using the lead pass button and finding open spaces, the AI should close down the angles easier and not allow me to have so many breaks. In your beta they did this but now with this new version they are back to being dumb taking wrong angles to me and the ball
OK i played my first match against classic 11 in a 20 mins match,I was england in LEGENDARY diffculty.At the end of the first half i was 3-0 down.By the end of the second half i was 2-3 down and in extra time i scored to equalize.In the extra halves i scored 3 more goals winning 6-3.The patch is very good but my only disappointment were the GK's.
My GK seemed so dumb and he let such easy shots in.Weak headers and easy saves were let in and he also deflected the balls inside for goals which made me mad.One goal was so dumb that i could not believe it.I passed the ball back to my keeper and he instead of catching the ball went to the side as if some force field blocked him for getting the ball and then let the cpu take the ball and score.Thats how i conceded the 3 goals.The opponent keeper is very good.All you need to do is improve the GK's.

I never called you stupid, I just said that I thought you were either lying, or just taking advantage of bugs in the AI to do nothing but score.

I just put it on and started a season with Torino, World Class, Normal speed. First match vs. Udinese and I was up 4-0 by half and won 5-2 final! The CPU does actually seem easier to break this time around, I had something like 24 shots in that game. Ball physics are great, goalies not so much. The CPU keep made a couple of bad throws basically straight to my forward instead of booting it. Also on the high quality graphics setting all my cut-scenes are now blurry...can go in and fix it probably but just letting you know.

making passes and crosses less accurate, giving the goal kicks more power, and the keepers more skill would really make this almost perfect. Plus making both player and CPU AI smarter in terms of trying to stop passes, crosses, and shots, because the number of shots is just too high and the games are almost all high scoring.

Other than the user GK having mental lapses, I've never had any problems with the gameplay on a regular basis. Now have there been matches that were 5-2, 6-3? Yes. But I would say I've only had 1 out of every 7 or 8 like that. Is there occasionally a high number of shots? Yes. But it's not that terrible.
The bottom line is that this gameplay does tend to make you think and react more. For instance, you can't lay 3 yards off a striker and wait for him to make a move. You have to close him down, or he's going to have a wonder strike.
Overall, I think with 10 min halves, at WC, it's a pretty realistic feeling game. The shot stats get out of control sometimes, but the scores for the most part stay pretty reasonable, provided that you close guys down and put them under pressure. Otherwise, you're going to see lots of 20-25 yard strikes.

Unlike other people on this forum, i am terrible at this game. I played this game on semi-pro and lost 4-2 with arsenal against newcastle. I actually really enjoy playing this and thank you NK for releasing it. I cannot say anything about dumb keepers cuz i get scored on alot more than just some stupid goals towards the end of the game. The CPU pulled off quite a few moves that i found to be simply amazing.

Hey Bruce, all changes you requested have been done and dusted and are working great. there's more to change to get this right and balanced then a few digits, so I won't start going into this. But I have fixed it. GK kicks, etc have more pace and realism now.
cpu defence is aggressive and harder to break, cpu attack is quicker and more dangerous.
shot mechanic harder, inbetween WE5 and +league. Much better.

Funny, though, how you could score back then when the defense was actually more challenging, compared to now when the defense is easier to break you cant seem to score much? That is why I thought you were trying to boast and lie.

NK I would like shot meachanic to be litlle closer to +league,
and goalkeepers can be better.
I think that you should slow down game just for a bit ,
I play on normal speed it`s litlle faster, and slow speed is to slow ....

.Should have been 10 as i should have got a free kick from a great position in the last minute but the dumb refree allowed advantage and the time got over.Anyways for me 9-3 is good.

Anyways NK most of my goals and CPU goals were thanx to the deflections by the keeper into the net.You have to do something about the deflection.Can you make it like they deflect it outside for a corner or something cause even weak shots are reacted late by the keepers and are deflected inside which made me mad.The shot mechanics is too easy and sometimes feels like original EA mechanics.Can you make it a little bit harder.
