I'm fixing my FIFA just so I can play this thing. I like the idea of the strict referee's patch and interested to see how it works. I'll give you an idea on what I think in a few hours, if all goes well.

just so you all know there will be a tweak released. But this will be once feedback is taken in.

The tweak will be a quik fix for any bugs or problems that weren't found in testing.

There won't be a World Evolution 6, so all changes will be made directly to WE5 and given a set 'version' number.

Awaiting feedback on WE5 guys, hope you love it! I just scored a couple of awesome goals, truly worked for them.

I haven't had a 1v1 with the goalkeeper yet but the cpu has broke my defence a number of times. Doesn't mean I lose the match though.

I haven't played it yet.... My FIFA broke... I can't get manager mode to move past the opening week of the Premier League. No clue why. I hope to fix this tonight... it's bugging me to death. I have to figure out which add-ons are causing it.

Funny thing is that all I've done was update the db with stadiums, kits, adboards, and transfers. Don't know what else happened.

wow, what can I say, plays awesome!! very fun. I lost 1-0 to aston villa as arsenal but blew a few chances, hit the post twice! thanks NK, this patch is really amazing. I still think the goalie kicks could be out farther and the AI defense would tone down the rushing at me constantly, its like they have unlimited stamina when in real life that never happens. Also, my AI needs to learn how to clear the ball and to get in front of crosses and passes in my box, they just stand there unless I'm able to take control of one. (worst player switching system ever by EA!)

yes! yes! this update is really amazing! thanks to you NK FOOTBALL ©! the ball is not that magnetic-to-the-player-like anymore now. and not that as fast as in previous update that cause the players just can't get it. i like the strict referee that make the game better in realism.

is this update also tested with keyboard user? because i found that if the player is in some degree the shot is really as what as the buttons on keyboard are pressed. i try this over and over in training mode. the striker is in some degree to the goal and he really shot as what the button pressed. in some degree the shot is wow! powerful and really hit the target.

thanks for also including the modified cfg_pc_h.ini.. and not to launch any browser anymore :mexican:

this is my first feeback, although i've played all your beta's.
This patch plays very nice, but somehow it looks like the grass on the pitch is too long, what i really mean is that the ball slows down too fast when someone is running with it. For the rest: a job welldone!

Nk, i just played it and i agree with everyone. It's awesome BUT at first when I played it on Pro, but after i changed to WC I was disappointed. Very. And I'll tell ya why. On Pro at half time (18 min match) I was 2-0 up and the overall game was awesome, extremely enjoyable. And then at WC at half time I was 1-0 down because a bit of bully syndrome is back. First of all the three player-sandwich marking is back (but not every time), and the CPU players almost always get the ball in 50/50 chances but in Pro it is PERFECT. Also the CPU players are a bit too aggressive. Ok...I know what you're thinking... that i'm complaining about the fact that It is too hard for me.... I mean yes, I do mean to say this but most of all I want to tell you that the difficulty gap between Pro and WC is way too big. Or maybe on WC you modified some variables that make the game play harder (which i give you credit for that) but at the same time you made a bit unfair. If you make the WC difficulty like Pro but with a smarter CPU(in WC the goal i received was from an incredible play thought by the CPU, I was blown away. Good Job !) and with a bit more pressing that would be my final. I'll just play FIFa 07 for two more years and leave you alone. Seriously! Again, Great Job mate !

But i had a problem.When i played the game after installing the patch the game started lagging and was not smooth as it is supposed to be.It was not the case with your previous patches but it happened to me in this patch,Why? I play on fast.

Still i managed to play 2 games with great difficulty,Both game's i was england and both were 20 mins matches in LEGENDARY Difficulty.

First match against All mighty Classic 11 and it ended in a draw 2-2.

Second match against Brazil and i trashed them 6-1.

Making chances were harder as the defence stayed back so were the crosses but i love the challenge.I'll have lot of fun.Plz make the lagging problem alright or post a solution here.

I have not tried strict refree yet...Have to try it out but in what way is it more strict?Does it give fouls for just anything and everything causing delays in the game?

I've played 1 game... not enough to give solid feedback yet, but I do think the feel of the game is better right now. I'll play some more when I get done with work.

One issue is that lag factor. The game does seem to have a certain amount of lagginess to it. I've played on all 3 speeds and it doesn't seem to make it any worse or any better. It's not unplayable, just a minor discomfort.

Great job with patch!. I've only played 1 game so far. A 20 minute match at Manchester City with Reading (me). I beat them 1-0. They had plenty of chances (26 shots) to my 8, but Doyle scored a perfect header off of a cross in the second half. I love the shooting and the fact that neither the CPU or the USER passing is perfect. I also love that it's hard to control the ball. That's real football folks.

I will agree with a previous poster that said the CPU kind of bullies you. However, when you take the ball into a corner for a potential cross I notice that they lay off a bit. I really like this as it allows you to build an attack. If this is how FIFA 08 is going to be it will be a lot of fun with the manual passing

I think that the ultimate game play patch will have a combination of this type of defensive effort from the CPU. A variation of strategy throughout the game depending on how the game is going. A more bullied approach when the CPU is trailing and maybe a more laid back approach when they are trailing. This may be impossible since EA has not seemed to grasp this concept yet. Just take a look at the way the CPU subs. They bring someone on somewhere between the 55-65 minute mark no matter how the game is going.

I used the strict referee in my game last night. I had 5 fouls and Man City had 2.

Not bad,I'll try it out now.But the lag is a real pain and takes some fun away..Hopefully NK can find a way to solve it and make it smooth like before.
