NK, ive noticed that almost all shots (distance and near the post) are turning to the right (i dont mean with a curve, they just go diagonally to the right, i mean in a wrong way...)
I was maybe 10 times alone in front of the post (very near of it) and rooney and saha have always send the ball to the right side very far from the post.
I thought there was maybe a problem with my gamepad, ive rienstalled EA's org. gameplay to control it, but no problem with gamepad...
reinstalled again X-PRO, but again are all shots going diagonally to the right...
its very annoying, cauz all the rest of the gameplay is just excellent !

Nice to see the computer actually shoots, was playing them on legendary and they scored within a minute and then I scored 20 seconds later. Didnt complete the game, but felt much better.

LMFAO!!!!Yes I agree. Even the CPU have difficultly in scoring because their ball keeps off target even in close range. I tried all direction in shooting at close range but the ball too keeps going to the right. Is that what you intended to do or is it a bug?
I finally out that by shooting the ball to the left, makes your shooting more accurate. but that's a little funny isn't it. I still love the shooting in Joystick addict as I find it more realistic. NK can you give me the lines I have to change to make the shooting like in Joystick addict? Thanks

NK I have been using your gameplay patches since you started making them for FIFA and after installing each patch I have loved playing every minute of the games. This patch is no different, it is so much more realistic, so much more fun but unfortunately I prefer your joystick addict patch because of the shooting in X-Pro. I played a 20 minute game of Man U v Arsenal and the game ended 0-0. I had 20 shots and none on target. Rooney put a shot well wide from 10 yards out straight infront of goal. Even the cpu only had 1 shot on target. I looked at the replays after each shot and saw that every time the ball would come off at a 45 degree angle. Apart from the shooting this is the best patch I have ever downloaded for any FIFA. Please please fix the shooting.

I have had no problem shooting. Although, I'm not a guy that tries to hit long shots too often. I usually score off headers on crosses, through balls that lead to breakaways, pks, and free kicks. That's how I scored all four of my goals in my game tonight with Atletico Madrid. Torres-pk, Aguero-breakaway, Aguero-header, Torres-free kick. Awesome job once again. I played Celta, so not a great test.

I played another game and managed to score a beautiful header off a giggs cross but still the shots are going miles wide from well inside the penalty box. How do you make your shots go straight instead of off at 45 degrees?
Yes, I quote...very compliment for general gameplay...foul..action...speed...but shot are bit IMO unreal...to much wide of net...in too much time...

I am going to fix the shooting later on today and send out a new version to go public...
Hold on guys, i'm on this!! It might be a leaked bug...the shooting shouldn't be THAT off-target.

A new version has now been sent out to go public and fix the sensitive shooting bug. I looked through the files and it seems a variable from a beta had krept into the shooting tolerance and sent it off the wall. What that means is the shooting did not tolerate any mistake from the user and would send the shot on a crazy 'error mission' to the stands.
This has been fixed and I have even added some surprises in too.
I'll let you guys know when it's released. Very soon though.

-Added new HARDCORE Striker! This will load after installation and gives the user the option to install harder shooting for those who don't mind the current version; PLEASE NOTE: HARDCORE Striker isn't as sensitive as current version, but harder than default installation of new build.

I've played two 20 minute matches on World Class.
Italy (NK) v Spain. I beat Spain 1-0 with a gorgeously worked for goal, smashed it right in the top corner, not far out (i had a few shots from farout that went on at goal, but caused no fuss for the keeper). but it felt so good smashing it in!! really was worked for. Spain out-shot me and had many on target but my keeper stopped them. Their shots didn't have what mine had, the shot I took had POWER and there's were accurate but lacked that 'smash' factor. I tried a few cheeky finesse shots, but they went wide (which is good cause to be honest, I don't like it when every finesse shot goes on at goal simply because you sacrifice power for accuracy...this equation of EA's, especially on the 360 version, ruins the game).
Next match, England (NK) v Brazil. I lost 2-0. Got my ass handed to me. I tried a few hopeful long-range shots and did hit the target, but again the keeper stopped them. Brazil were not on their best form at the start, missing a few easy chances, but they did get some on goal and my keeper stopped them. But eventually ronaldinho hit a beautiful volley, curled round the keeper and in. then he scored a free-kick on me and made me cry lol. Two great goals. Adriano hit the post with a scorcher in the 80th minute, I should've lost more then 2-0. Brazil had chances to put me down, but it was realistic.
You know, I am so confident that this version is THAT solid, that I've started on a BETA for the next (why not?!) and I can tell you guys, there's not much I can do. I can tune it all up and make it better and more playable, but apart from that, I believe X-PRO in itself, is the most solid update you'll get til my next.
Enjoy it, now that the shooting bug is gone...you guys can enjoy what I've been creating the past 3 months! You win some, you lose some...but every game is fun!
