I am still a big proponent of making th GKs harder to beat. In the beta 2.0 I
find it still very easy to score, and also the AI scores frequenty enough. Its
still impossible to get a 0-0. I have gone from 10 minute halves to 8 minute
but still there are regularly 3-5 goals scored a game. Of course if you can make
the AI defense work harder and prevent chances, that would be great, but even if
this could be accomplished, I still feel the GKs should be better.

You have hit the nail on the head. The update is going to push towards making games far less of a score-range. For example...your goalkeeper will be much harder to beat and so will the cpu's. Then, the defence will be harder, but as with all current-gen versions it is much easier to break the defence then say on the 360 version (then again that is an all-new engine). Current-gen relies on goalkeepers to make it a more balanced, harder game. However, although I will make goalkeepers harder, that will not be the feel nor the direction I am taking the update. You'll see soon enough.

As for releasing a third beta, this is unconfirmed. Ah well, wait and see.

Only if both players' use the same gameplay update. Otherwise.......crash! It's best to arrange it personally then say in a lobbie.

Not for ball control. These are used within the goalkeeper variables to set out how the keepers respond and behave when in a 'defensive' situation where they are used to close down or strip the ball from the striker.

Man i like the gameplay, how the players move, how the ball moves but you have to do something about the goalkeepers, it's so frustrating, i have played with liverpool, at proffesional level, against tottenham, reading and manchester. Even readings goalkeeper was so hard to beat, but mine was so stupid :f***: really, i took goals that even a blind man could saved them, while the other goalkeeper was the man of the day :funny: Generally i like it a lot, offcourse, except the goalkeeper part :ewan:

here my comments:

-Attractive the physics of the ball but according to me is necessary to increase the rebound of the ball, have to be difficult to put the ball to land.

-just the ball touches either the body or some object would have to I rebound the on such im manner that the control of ball is difficult

-to make itself that the ball lifts itself in vertical manner in such manner than in the middle to the field a ping pong with the blows of head

-the defence of the CPU is really real but do except for errors with respect to first, is necessary to increase the errors when it is jumped to hit of head and the normal errors

-the cpu should do endorser the ball of more for horizontal roads

-the CPU should pass the ball also of first and to hold of except for the ball between the foots, is not possible than in the middlefield the ball between the foots stays with and does the changes of direction without opponents that go him against

-if it is possible when it a lot loads itself the power, the ball is had to lift much more in such manner from be attention when it is kicked

Hi NK -

Tried the new update for 1 game, and I really couldnt tell
much difference in the GKs other than my GK isnt very
good. Really he let in goals he shouldnt have. I'll play more
later but so far it didnt seem much different from 2.0.

AI had too many shots on goal versus total shots. It seems
like you tweaked the AI offensive scoring ability, which
personally I dont think these guys need to shoot better.
Worse, plus better GKs should equal more low scoring or
even scoreless games.

Excellent. I played a game again and it just confirmed
what happened in the first game. The AI GK is better (it
could be even tougher im my opinion) but the user GK
sucks. Really, two more frustrating goals scored by the
CPU (and these are 1-1.5 star teams with players scoring
goals that Henry or van Nistelrooy would score). Its just
not realistic. If it were those players, I might accept those
goals, but since its playes with overall skill scores of ~ 50
its ridiculous. Definitely the user GK needs to be much
better, but also the ability to shoot accurately should go
down for both sides if possible. I would assume that how
accurate you are is weighted by a players overall skill. A
journeyman player shouldnt score an "Henry-like" goal
very often. Once in a while. Not every freaking game.
