Thank you very much, it's a shame I reduced the quality so much, the original is simply beautiful if I may say so myself

Type B is easier on the shot mechanic for both user and cpu, so there's a higher chance of more goals. the cpu marking and pressure is a bit different for a different feel to the game and the passing is a tad slower, but it doesn't make a huge difference. It's really a self preference of gameplay here and I wanted you guys to have a choice between the two builds.

Naturally, the best version is the default WE4. It's the hardest and most realistic. Though some may find the shot mechanic a tad difficult at first, I assure you it's more depth than WE3.


EDIT: and to add, you can really wind up a powerful shot now!!

Wonderful gameplay patch, congratilations... I play mostly uefa cl, but i noticed that you seem to care more fifa 07 than uefa cl. Every patch u released you add uefa cl gameplay. Do you always make optimizations for uefa cl gameplay with every release or release just the same update for it?

Fantastic gameplay.
I have only played 1 game but i like the gameplay very much.

The shots mechanic is really great and realistic now. It was very unreal in previous versions where you shot and the ball goes to the corner flag.

Now it´s much better. I have managed to score some great goals in practice mode but of course i fail a lot of shots too but i didn´t feel so disapointing for faill like in WE2.

Can you please perhaps post video footage so I can see where the problems lie within the ease of your playing style? It would be interesting to see where the cpu fails to defend your attacks

NK, In first place my english is so bad.....I don´t dominate speak english for to explain the total diference in my case WE4 to WE3, but for me WE4 is inferior in comparison WE3 - THE DEFENSE MANS PLAYERS NOT ARE EFECTIVE AND THE GAME AND PLAYERS WAS VERY FAST!!!!

In second place I dont Know post video footage....You can explain me as to make????

hi NK FOOTBALL ©! i've just played 6 4-minute-match on legendary (ac milan vs. inter milan, chelsea vs. manchester united, barcelona vs. real madrid etc) which results 3 wins, 2 draws and 1 lose.. and also few times of training mode using ur great WE4:

+ yes the skills/ signature tricks are now can easily beat CPU players (i really never thought that i can do those before!)
+ both HUMAN and CPU players are less doing unnecessary moves that really makes it similar to the real life (real life players do not running, speeding and rushing at all the time)
- sometimes CPU players seems a little bit passive where my c. ronaldo can easily beats 5 players (they mark the ball too bad which i feel that in this case WE3 still the best)
+ the ball is more realistic (more weight, more bounces, more rotation)
- the shooting is still though but easier than before. i should really make sure rooney or saha is not running too fast and no CPU player(s) is/ are pressuring him
- it was a very long cross by hleb (arsenal) 40-meter-left of the goal then the ball curls amazingly and goes into the right side of the net where van der sar just couldn't save it! lol
+ the CPU freekicks are very dangerous!!! watch out if it's lampard, ronaldinho, pirlo etc

Now this is the first time i posted on SG and i would have posted a loooong time ago but I didn't cause I was so madly furious on you that I would have offended you and such in a way that I would get banned from life :funny: obviosly for your gameplay patches.

So. I don't know why but I have notice that you are going way of course about your gameplay patches original ideea: realistic. I mean I don't see ANYTHING realistic (I'm talking about WE4) in being completly alone outside the box with Eto'o, Henry, Drogba etc and shooting "at goal" but instead hitting the corner flag barely moving it because of the pathetic power. I mean come on... how stupid is that ? Or other times (in practice) I want to dribble the kepper with a fake-shot but then the balls magicly enters the keepers hands without him touching it, or if I DO get pass him (don't know how) I shoot in the back side of the side of the goal. Not to mention lobbing the kepper...man everytime I lob the keeper I lob a rugby post. I swear to god. And you say we have to "learn" how to shoot that it takes time... My grandmother could shoot better than the players shoot in this scenario. So just make shooting very good when they're free of marking and make them shoot a bit lousyer when they're marked or in difficult positions. How hard is to do that ?

Second the marking. I mean it's like I'm in the deffence with Puyol trying to clear the ball but in any position i try to clear the ball I hit a Real Madrid player in the nuts because there are THREE of them trying to get the ball of mine but it looks like they're gay people with sexual problems trying to rape me. Yes, it's true. I mean do you see in real life THREE players trying to take the ball off a defender ? NO. They are at a considerable distance marking the players in midfield. And not only in the deffence. I was once with Ronaldinho and i swear to god there were 8 RM players chasing me. I couldn't even move. Do you call that realistic ? NO

Third the CPU. Sometimes they make great plays and 1-2 passes (yeah right...that NEVER happens) but anyway they manage to pass me around in midfield and deliver a through ball to a striker and the striker shoots (he completly escapes from marking) and the second day he received a dentist bill from an old lady who was the victim of his shot that was sitting in a nice comfy chair in the stadium. Do you call that realistic ? NO

Forth... freekicks. I mean...I'm again with Ronaldinho and when i take a freekick on goal the ball makes a 180 degree curve. I mean...I know he is called "a magician of the ball" but come on....The curve is TOTALY unrealistic.And on freekicks that are driven crosses I manage to score goals without even wanting to, by mistake. Defenders allways put me down or they always like...are 2 metres tall and again because of the marking....damn there are alot of gay people on the field. Do you call that realistic ? NO

So my requests are to make the match more...free not so tight like you're trapped in a cage (because you said it yourself that this update is meant for 20 min matches so there is time to score goals) because if you play with Barcelona and you can't make 2-3 passes...that's not realistic. You have to enjoy making 1-2's with Ronaldinho and Messi, you have to enjoy BEING ABLE to do dribbles with Ronaldinho...you have to enjoy outrunning players with Messi speed...that's what i call and entertaining fifa game.

So anyway...you get the point. All I'm trying to say is maybe you should work on one single base update and modify it at the request of your testers (us) rather then making a new one everytime. For example you make a version 1. That version has a great game flow (the speed is slow...the marking isn't tight) but the marking is not right it is to easy. We tell you that, you modify it, you post it...we like...it stays! So we have version 1.1 Then...we tell you that the freekicks go over the post to often....you fix it, you post it, we like it...it stays! We have version 1.2 and so on...If you want I can be a beta-tester to do these things with you cause I'm good at understading the game and I know what the average fifa07 player wants. Plus I'm (i mean alot of us) are on summer break so... time is not an issue.

Hey look...al i want to say is that I like fifa07 but i don't like playing it at this
time because of the gameplay. And I want to enjoy it as bad as everyone else like to. So let's make fifa07 a better game. Together.

I got the we4, and i think its great. I am enjoying it alot more than we3. I think the original we4 is a bit too hard for me at the moment, i cant even get a shot on target, so i'm using type B.

Does it matter where I install the patch to? Do I have to install it to the main folder.

Because I installed it to the desktop and played a game and it didn't seem that different.

If you get a webpage that pops up with a WE4 logo, click on it and then select 'run' for the WE4.exe and then you have to install whichever version to the main directory of that game e.g. UEFA or FIFA.

Hy NK!!!

Really very very GOODS become is fun your update, the game more and more. What me been noticeable are is the attitudes for the expanse shots that see super realistically from. The Goals are to be looked at very beautifully and somehow I were able to make the feeling that one now entirely other playing styles whether over the wings or through the middle.

Brilliant work.
