Downpour forces Barça postponement

Tonight's UEFA Champions League Group A match between
FC Barcelona and Newcastle United FC has been postponed
following a heavy downpour in the build-up to the game.
'Heavy rain'
The pitch was deemed playable after an inspection at 17.00CET
his evening but the storm which followed led the Belgian referee
Frank De Bleeckere with little option but to call off the match.
Representatives of both clubs and UEFA officials are currently
involved in talks at Camp Nou to decide when the match should
take place.
