Yes....and still they brag about the new "dynamic weather" feature on their website. EA sucks like a Georgia thunderstorm!!

not this year, no. We had planned to implement weather in FIFA 2004 but it had to be taken out of the game to focus on improving other areas of the game such as gameplay, animation, audio and so on.

Everybody complains about gameplay improvement. Now fifa focus on gameplay and still you are whiny bitches.
I have respect for this descision of fifa. Gameplay comes first, not some crappy weather condition.
And rain, snow etc would only drop the frame rates.

but weather affects gameplay,and it makes the game more real,so weather is an important part of gameplay,weathe doesn't mean only graphics it also means gameplay :kader:

ye, but did you play the previous fifa? The fysics where so bad. So I dont expect them do make different ball fysics for each weather type. Let them first try to make good fysics for the normal weather type. If thats good they can proceed to more advanced fysics. I rather have good ball fysics with one weather than a crappy one with several weather effects

i am playing fifa sincw world cup 98,i know they are bad,but if you look football community site,you will see ea said weather will even affect the gameplay,it is in the key fatures section:kader:

I've emailed EA to find out about this, so once I do I'll post the answer here.

Sure, it is never good to hear that a certain feature has been taken out of the game, but I think this is another situation where a few of you are getting a little bit carried away too early. Remember when you first heard about the Japanese version of FIFA 2004? Clubman was heading down to the local hardware store asking for rope strong enough to support a grown man. I bet he bumped into a few of you other guys while he was down there too

But seriously, lets wait and get the complete answer from EA before we jump to conclusion and right off FIFA 2004. It has a lot more to offer than just dynamic weather effects, I can tell you that.

this is what matt holme said in football cýommunity forum,we must wait,i' m a little bit comforted to see this..

I would like to see an "official" reaction to this (yes, I mean you Matt Holme).

Less than a month and a half away from the release of the game, I was already getting strange that EA didn't announce a broken promise. Let's hope this is the first and the last...

What's next, having Benfica's old stadium (which was demolished earlier this year) instead of the new?! Or having a perfect Forlán instead of a good Diego or Robinho?! Or maybe even release an update with Beckham's hair every month, and leave a god damn physics bug stand until FIFA 2005?! Or even putting Britney Spears on Highlights...

The official reactions should be left up to EA. I have emailed my contacts there, and like all of these topics that have needed clarifying over the past few months, I will get a response and post it here.

i expect ea will give an answer to matt,not to me,and i don't think they will take out the weather feature,i think they only take out choosing it,but in the game there will be dynamic weather effects affecting gameplay.

The weather should change during a match though, that's the terrible thing, it would be great to have this!

And I want weather effects, fair enough if I can't choose the weather, but I want the weather to change and be clear or raining in one match to the other god damn it. :mad:

EA are crazy. :crazyboy: :f***:

WEATHER is gameplay and graphics.

Like animations...

You guys complain too much about gameplay. I bet if ea fixed the gameplay, you'll start complaining about the graphics. You haven't even played the game, and allready you talk ill of fifa 2004. I know ea isn't the best, but what you're asking them to do takes more than 1 yr.

SO EA - I WAS VERY EXCITED TO FIFA 2004 UNTIL TODAY!!!

But u promised all the cool things like importing stadiums from TCM and dynamic weather and that we can change the weather before the match starts! But now u say this will not be included!

The only thing i can say now is: ****K YOU EA SPORTS - I HATE U! I WILL NOT BE IN THIS COMMUNITY ANYMORE - BECAUSE EA IS SOOO STUPID! I WILL ONLY PLAY PES3 AND I WILL NOT BUY FIFA 2004!

EA Staff, U SUCK!
