I dont think 2 isolated incidents warrants condemning the entire Scottish race. Dickheads are everywhere, and as pathetic as these attacks are, its important not to exaggerate the scale of the problem.

10 years ago the three lions song was "30 years of hurt", in another 10 years itll b "50 years of hurt.."face it, the english havent shut up about 1966 since they won the thing. every four years hey think they can win the cup, no one listens to them. they wont win it this year either, unless theo walcott comes on and scores... :p

Yes, totally unlike Northern Ireland fans who wont mention the fact that they actually beat England in qualifying ever again. Grow up son. We only mention 66 during the World Cup, it's not hard to see why. I will never get tired of seeing Hurst's hattrick.

Whats religion got to do with football? You people need to be able to seperate the two. Religious divide is what has fu<ked up your country and your mentality. Your religion is supposed to teach love I believe, but all it does is breeds hate. Rise above it mate.

Incidently, if you watch the media in every country that has won the World Cup in the past, you will see that prior to and during the competition, they ALL replay the games that won them the trophy. It's not just England, its Brazil, Italy, Argentina, Germany, France and Uruguay.

Only 7 countries have won the World Cup since 1930, and its to be expected that England would be proud to be winners, in such fine company as the other 6.

This is part of English football history, and if people have a problem with that, tough luck.

i see what you mean, i went over the top there, i guess that the fact that ive never seen n.ireland play in the world cup ( since i was born) got to me there... also its not every1 in northern ireland, but i admit we need to sort this divide with religions out, look at neil lennon, he was forced out of playing for northern ireland.

I know its got a lot to do with frustration Michael, and I can understand that man. Northern Ireland is a very small country indeed, and to make it to the World Cup would be some achievement to be sure, but its not impossible mate. Hopefully they will make it real soon. Euro is 2 years away so hopefully they will do well there.

I understand why there is a divide in your country, and appreciate the many years of struggle that has caused so much bitterness between the people. All we can hope is that time will heal or at least temper some of the hatred. Dont asume that ALL the English don't care either. There are many of us that do. (Y)

Punk Sk8r ...the English have always been pish at tennis. We have to import other nationalities and then call them British. Anyway its a posh boys sport and it sucks, and has no place in the football forum. Same goes for cricket. Like watching paint dry. By the way you never hear about the ashes or the Rugby World Cup to be honest. A small minority were interested at one time but the sports are not popular enough in England to warrant further mention.
