Nobody in box during free kick?

Anyone else noticed that during a free kick from the side or close to the box all the players dont go deep into the box.
When i take the free kick the ball just flies past everyone........
How can i make my players go deeper in the box so they can head the ball in?

Got the same problem, really annoying :nape:
The only solution I found, is to wait a few seconds and 1 player usually comes into the box...but still stupid :rolleyes:

yes this is one of the great flaws of the new pes game.it seems that in real life football,when a free kick is taken no one attacks the box...well got news for ya KONAMI,you got that one RELLLY wronf :kader: :nape: ....a great mistake from konami....they really didnt pay attention to that aspect of the game and it is a great shame as it makes the free kicks so unrealistic and ridicolous....oh well nothing to do about it,probally they will fix this in WE9i....in the meanwhile the best thing to do(as said GusGus)wait a few seconds and if your lucky some of your players will approach the box

just put the thing at the bottom up into the red L2 + R1 i think, switch kickers, and when it fades back in i usally get a few more players there, and the players seem to be further forward.

The higher your attacking meter is, the more players you'll have in the box. Konami needs to make it automatic and also let you use two CB in the box for corners.

If you put the attacking meter on full red, one CB(the tallest one) will come up for the freekick/corner. I hope that in the next version both CBs are in the box. It also looks like players back up and then run in. Just practice your aim and timing in the training mode. I still need to perfect it myself.

Just because in PES4 all the players were in position waiting for the cross, that still doesn't make it right...

In PES5 the players keep on changing their positions constantly during a freekick/corner. That's far more challenging. You have to wait till ur player is in position, then play the freekick in accordance to where he'll be after 3-4 seconds (time needed to deliver the ball)......

I also love the way all the attackers move back then suddenly charge into the box when waiting for a freekick to be delivered... when u make use of the players momentum, u get awarded with one beautiful slamming header... I find Konami's new FK/corner system more challenging and realistic...

Needs refinement tho...

i know what you mean now.
But still the system isnt perfect imo.
A lot of times the player gather around the wall and they stay there, even when u put the attacking meter in red.
And sometimes only 1 player will run up to the box. But in real life all player go togethe im most of the cases.

Anyone else has more tips, because the system doesnt work well for me.
