I'm going to go way back to the very beginning for my first release...1967 United Soccer Association and National Professional Soccer League

The patch looks all perfect except the ratings, for example Carlos Alberto Torres has 61 overall and Neeskens has 68, that can't be right, did i import incorrectly?

Thanks for the question...i'm working on the update and the rating will change. If you have any rating suggestions please pm me.

You could use Fifa 14's Classic Patch for the ratings, in the 1980s database of the patch there is an NASL league with many players currently in your patch with more accurate ratings and positions

Thanks for your suggestion, unfortunately I don't have FIFA 14 installed. If possible, can you send me screen shots of the other teams as well?

I have free time so if you want i can do this for you, update the players position and overall, that is. I could afterwards just export as cmp and give it to you right? Or maybe it would be better for you to pass me the new update cmp when it's ready and then i do it.

Sounds like a plan...so right now i'm working on updating graphics for 1980 to start so I'll send that to you first then i'll go forwards to 1984

Here's a update on this patch. The patch is 99% complete...I'm just checking a few things and will release sometime this weekend...in the meantime here are the Banners and Flags that I made for the project which can be used with other USA/Canada projects

Ok let's start from the beginning....in 1967 there were two competing leagues in the USA and Canada:

The first one was the National Professional Soccer League [NPSL] with 10 teams: Atlanta Chiefs, Baltimore Bays, Chicago Spurs, Los Angeles Toros, New York Generals, Oakland Clippers, Philadelphia Spartans, Pittsburgh Phantoms, St Louis Stars and Toronto Falcons...These teams signed players from around the world for their season.

The second league was the United Soccer Association [USA] who imported whole teams from around the world for their 12 teams: Boston Rovers [Shamrock Rovers-Ireland], Chicago Mustangs [Cagliari-Italy], Cleveland Stokers [Stoke City-England], Dallas Tornado [Dundee United-Scotland], Detroit Cougars [Glentoran-Northern Ireland], Houston Stars [Bangu AC-Brazil], Los Angeles Wolves [Wolverhampton Wanderers-England], New York Skyliners [C.A. Cerro-Uruguay], San Francisco Gales [ADO Den Haag-Netherlands], Toronto City [Hibernian-Scotland], Vancouver Royals [Sunderland-England] and Washington Whips [Aberdeen-Scotland]

1968 would mark the first official season of the North American Soccer League [NASL] following the merger of the NPSL and USA leagues. Some shuffling of teams were necessary to prevent some cities from having two teams.
Chicago Spurs moved to Kansas City
Los Angeles Toros moved to San Diego
Boston Rovers would re-brand into Boston Beacons
New York Skyliners, Toronto City, Philadelphia Spartans, Pittsburgh Phantoms and San Francisco Gales would fold.
So 17 teams would take the field for 1968.

1969:
After the 1968 NASL season 12 teams decided to pull the plug and get out of the soccer business. That resulted in only 5 teams left to soldier on. The five teams left were Atlanta Chiefs, Baltimore Bays, Dallas Tornado, Kansas City Spurs and St Louis Stars.
