Not enough players???

On my third game in the ultimate team mode, i couldnt start the game because it kept telling me i did not have enough players.
Did i let contract expire??? How do i put another player on field and how to extend contract??
On the players page , i notice one of players is in black/white and also
a slot with question mark.
Any help will be appreciated.

Hi,

In the team management bit in the Ultimate Team section the second option down in the menu below lineup is where you can extend contracts. In this section if you have a contract extension card from the packs you buy then you can use it. To view the amount of games left on the players contracts use the LHS stick to cycle through until you get to it.

Also in this section if you press X on a player's card you get a list of options as to what to do with the card.
