no more seriously I feel sorry for Mister Dabizas who has been a great servant for the club ... nad has been playing well the past two season .... maybe its just time to move,... shame he might be going. Same for McClen ... looked like a promising young talent a few years back. Oh well

Well, I'm not surprised Clarence Acuña is transfer-listed…

Acuna and Dabizas are disapointments for me. I hoped they could cement a first team place and stay.

Acuña has never been able to do much at Newcastle, and really is due a departure.

Dabizas is slightly unfortunate, but he suffers from defensive lapses which is unacceptable at the highest level. Newcastle, wanting to chase glory and cups, cannot afford to have such a defender. They need some rock solid defenders. Also, they already have younger options.

McClen and Quinn hardly ever gets a game.

Robbie Elliott is past his best and would best serve himself by moving to a smaller club where he can get regular first team football. He still has a decent left foot on him.

This could be the players that could do a good job for some of the promoted sides with their EPL experience.

I think the have to get rid of Bramble and O'Brien instead of Dabizas as their performance is ......
Acuna is a gd player too, although he is affected by injury this season!

Naw, O'Brien is fine. I would personally keep Dabizas, but Sir Bob knows best.

I think we will sign a new CB and if Emerton falls through, We will go get Steve Carr. I would like us to get Emerton b/c I think he can do Speed's Job in the future. Jenas is much too lightweight to do it, but if he bulks up a bit then who knows...

Acuna and McClen worked hard, i liked the both of them, class players but didnt work out for them. Quinn is a crap though, hes a D1 player, not a Premier League player.

I really hope we do get mister Carr that would be a great signing.

A part from that Dabizas has been saying that hes resigned to leave NUFC, but is looking to stay in the EPL. good man.

Dabizas has a horrible season.. so this doesn't surprise me at all...

We need Van Buyten but i haven't heard anything about that since January. I remember reading that Van Buyten would make a move in the summer.

Dabizas is a great player for us. I can't believe he has been put on the transfer list. Mind you we do have more upgraded defenders e.g. Jonathan Woodgate.
