This match deserves a place here too. Two great European teams facing each other to claim the first position of the Liga ( with SC Braga ).

Benfica has some problems because of injuries and players with too much yellow cards:

So our two midfielders will be others... I believe in a victory, hope that DAVID LUIZ and Luisão could handle them.

Braga won their game today, so even if Benfica win Sunday's game, Braga will remain at the first place but with the same points as Benfica. If Porto wins then they'll be in 2nd at 1 point of Braga with Benfica at 3rd with 2 point distance from Porto and 3 from Braga.


But im expecting a victory from my team so, i dont want to think about that thing yet. Besides it will be a very difficult task with some of our best players out of this game.

BTW, what is hapening over there with Braga? they are the leader, right? is for the first time after Boavista won that title when another team instead Porto,Benfica and Sporting tries to win the league title.Interesting

Porto is in good form and will win it (i hope).

It will be for sure the most interesting game from last years between Benfica and Porto.
I expect a very good game inside and outside the pitch.

We are improving from game to game and Benfica has many important players out so we have great chances to win but it wont be easy.

I just hope that Luciclio Baptista (the referee) doesnt benefit Benfica as allways.

About Braga, yes they have a very good team but i am not sure if they can keep the pace until the end of season. Lets wait and see.

Bruno, do you saw the interview of Manuel Jose? I agree with him about how Benfica is right now.


My prediction is 2-1. Our midfield will be different because Di Maria, Ramires and Aimar will not play. It'll be very hard, they're in their best form this season.

Braga was always a strong team, but this season they are doing really well, but i think that they'll decrease in the next year.

Yes i have seen the interview. I agree with him also.

Porto is in better form now. I am curious to see what will be Benfica´s midfield tomorrow.

For me is Hugo Viana. He is making a great season. I wouldn´t mind having him at Porto.
But they have other good players. Their team is very balanced.

Their GK (Eduardo) will probably be the Portuguese GK in WC. It doesn´t have the quality for that in my opinion.

Maybe Alan (ex-Porto player). He has some major influence in the team.

As you can see, our midfield will be very slow.. If Nuno Gomes plays instead of Menezes, then would be super-slow.

Carlos Martins, if he doenst get injuried, it will be a great help. Peixoto, playing in his original position, maybe will be good too. My worries are in Menezes, playing against Porto right now... I dont think it will succeed.
