If Australia can't qualify under the present structure (and they can't obviously) then they don't deserve to be there. They only have to play eight games opposed to South America's 18 or so.

The more games, the more likely it is that the best teams end up on top...At the moment, really Australia are playing 2 games, and thats it...If we slip up in one, then it means that we have to wait another 4 years.
Playoffs dont work, simply because different teams are playing a different amount of games...Im not against South America having their current number of spaces, I just dont think that they should be taking them from Oceania, when a confederation as weak as Asia has 4.5.
As for Africa deserving more...I disagree again...Apart from a few at the top, African nations are relatively weak...
Even if we're playing an Asian team, its unfair. Its not the quality of the opposition that we're playing in the playoff that makes the difference, its the fact that Australias ONLY chance to qualify s thru a two legged play off...These are the ONLY competitive matches Australia gets once every four years...Sounds really fair to me...
I know that their is no convinving anyone...Basically every other confederation is now happy with the number of places that they have, so why would they argue...Lets all just pick on the smallest confederation, because by themself they're not going to be able to fight back
