i've also posted this in the other thred about controllers.
you will have to change the file called config.csv in the data\system folder of the game.
open the file with notepad and modify the values in the line that says:
1,Wingman Cordless Gamepad,62,DEVICE_CONF_CLRP,*Wingman*Cordless*Game
pad*,,WING,11,,1,2,3,5,7,8,10,11,9,,4,6,,,Odd having start before second wings
i changed mine to:
1,Wingman Cordless Gamepad,62,DEVICE_CONF_CLRP,*Wingman*Cordless*Game
pad*,,WING,11,,1,2,3,5,7,8,4,11,9,,,,,,Odd having start before second wings
you may delete the other gamepad settings to make it easier to see. don't delete the keyboard and mouse settings, though.
11 means 11 buttons. don't change this.
the 1st value after the commas is the lob/sliding tackle button. i set mine to 1, which on the pad is button A.
the 2nd value = pass/change player.
the 3rd = shoot
the4th = through ball (i set mine on button 5 = Y on the Cordless wingman)
the 5th = player runs (in the above configuration it is button7 = left top trigger on the cordless wingman - you might have to tap it a couple of times, just holding it doesn't sem to work)
the 6th = sprint button (assigned as the right top trigger)
the 7th value = off the ball control (button X on the gamepad)
the 8th = modifier (not quite sure about this one, assigned as the rihgt bottom trigger on the pad)
the 9th value = the exit button (START button on the gamepad).
this are the values corresponding to each button on the pad:
a=1, b=2, c=3, x=4, y=5, z=6, L1=7, R1=8, START=9, R2=11(not really sure).
L2 might be 10, i have to check this.
by the way, choose the default settings in the options menu and make the changes in the file, this way is less confusing.
