Darrent Williams died the last week of the season last year. A week before the Wild Card playoffs. Other than that, not sure.

On January 1, 2007, Williams was shot during a drive-by shooting, at approximately 2:10 a.m. Williams and two other passengers were shot when another vehicle pulled beside his rented Hummer H2 limousine in downtown Denver, Colorado. The shooting occurred near 11th Ave. and Speer Boulevard. It occurred less than 12 hours after the Broncos played their final game of the 2006 season.[4]

from wiki.....pretty close......I honestly can't remember one, man.

And the Bills beat them in heartbreaking fashion. Ouch.

Yeah.It was ******* depressing as hell to watch, man. It's probably the only game this season that I've sat through from beginning to end, you know? To just take it all in and wallow in my sorrow and sombre state that I've been in pretty much this whole week.

They came out all pumped up, full of adrenaline and the anticipation of honoring ST with a good performance and that carried them in the first half, but you could tell that they were just not in it in the second half, man. It was just too much to bear, Isuppose, because they were nothing but holographs out there, man.

Anyway, that second TO call by Gibbs was downright retarded and inexcusable. Lindell has a foot made of steel and is capable of hitting 60+yarders, man. WTF was that all about? I can't believe someone as studious about the game as Gibby wasn't aware of that rule. They've been ingenious in finding stupider and stupider ways to lose games this season. The playcalling has been atrocious, and you can almost see Gibby regressing into senility right before our very own eyes.

Lastly, I realize that the (SOME) 'skin fans are by far and away some of the worst in all of sportsdom, but for the love of GOD, man!! Did they have to boo the team near the end and as they were going off the field. The players were drained both physically and mentally. They were extremely heavy-hearted and not in a frame of mind to be playing a game this week. These ****ers should've been more sensitive and supportive, man.

That made me choke up, man.

Yeah, the 10 man formation was really touching. But I wasn't surprised that they would lose, it was just a bad way to lose.

Changing the subject a bit. Adrian Peterson is not human.

Check out the juke 3 minutes in. That's gotta be the juke of the year so far.

No doubt in my mind. Vinny "The Ageless Wonder" Testaverde is gonna lead us to the promised land.

Hey, if he keeps throwing to Smith, my fantasy team isn't going to be arguing (H)

I hate Steve Smith. If he was the Steve Smith of old, my fantasy team would be unstoppable right now. I have LT, Ben, Braylon, and TO. Instead I'm rotating the pupuplatter of Calvin Johnson, Dwayne Bowe, and Chris Chambers as my third receiver because Smith is hot garbage. Why didn't I draft Randy Moss instead!!!!!!!

Don't hate Steve Smith hate our management and coaching for not being able to have a legitimate back-up even though they've been in charge of this team for 6 seasons.

Steve Smith produced when Delhomme was healthy, once he went down what the hell was he supposed to do if the ball doesn't get thrown to him?

My God, I am not made for nail biters. I have hang nails thanks to that game. That was an ugly, ugly game, but just makes it that much sweeter to come up with the win. Brady has ice veins, and even though Moss sucked ass today, someone else stepped up.

Jabar Gaffney's grab was so clutch. Maroney had two huge receptions, and Kevin Faulk was the most consistent player throughout the night. He seems to always be making plays even though he goes under the radar.

I'm hoping Moss isn't in a rut or something like that, because he dropped two sure TD passes that you expect him to make without a problem. Sure, the wind was a huge factor, but I don't think Brady couldn't have thrown it better on that second drop. Benjamin Watson had two big drops, too. Stallworth had a drop, but he was hit pretty hard, so that's understandable. Wes Welker was pretty non-existent tonight. But that definitely makes it look even better, cause we still won.

What a ******* game. I need a bit to catch my breath.

Oh, and haha @ Bart Scott for throwing the flag. Idiot. (H)

Brian Billick just lost the locker room for the rest of the season with that HORRENDOUS time-out call. Ray Lewis had a "I can't believe what that cracker just did" look in his eyes, it was fantastic, I actually thought he was gonna run over to him and punch him right in the face.

Finally a good MNF game though (too bad they're gonna follow it up with Saints vs. Falcons next week :|)

Haha, it was actually the defensive coordinator who called that time out. But yeah, I was so glad to have seen that. That play was too telegraphed. Even I knew Brady was going for the sneak.

what a ******* finish. Billick shot his own team in the foot, calling the TO right before they made the stop on 4th and 1... what a heartbreaker. and Gaffney's catch was too close to call... I think if a perfect season wasn't on the line, it could've easily gone the other way

My dad made an interesting point, he pointed out that Gaffney was all alone so he didn't really have a reason not to have that ball in control with two feet down as the rule states. If there were two guys around him trying to discomfort him then maybe it's easier for the ref to make the decision the Pats way but seeing as Gaffney was all alone and was clearly juggling the ball when he had two feet down I think the ref made the wrong decision.

Oh it was Ryan with with that TO, oh boy he's gonna have a great week up there in Baltimore :p

Definitely, the call with Gaffney was like 90% subjective... even after viewing the replay I wasn't sure how it should have been called, but you're dad is right about him being alone... whatever though, as long as the Pats don't win the Superbowl I'll be happy :(
