i dont think that we will begin to use to crosses as wenger has always insisted on nice passin fluid football

I'd expect a lot more crossing this year, of our strikers one is 6'5" (Ade) and another is 6'4" (Nick), we may actually score some headed goals for once.

Yeh but even back in the day with the King(Kanu) we didnt really cross it much.

Its really our plan C or D i think.

That's true, though Kanu was more tricky and skillful than anyone we have now.

Added Pre-season info to the first post.

Yea, and speaking of crosses I could really see us getting lots of quality crosses from Eboue. His crosses have accuracy, pace, and swerve and overall he's just a great crosser of the ball. I wonder if Wenger will ever consider Eboue at RM? Anyway you're right, if our fowards are hungry for balls in the air we could have a lot of goals with the head especially with balls from the right hand side.

No, Eboue is so effective down the right because he is making overlapping runs, which means someone is rarely tracking him. Put him in right midfield and he wont be as effective

Just a 4-4-2

Its hard to comment on our XI because we dont know who else is going to sign, and where Dudu is going to play. There is talk that he could play as a Left Winger

Well maybe with Liverpool signing Fernando Torres and United about to get Tevez this gives us a chance to sign Huntelaar? How much do you think he would cost us for say a 4 year contract?

Oh and I don't mean to sound negative before the season has even started, but if our starting XI is the one Bobby posted I could see us getting beat by Tottenham and Newcastle. I still think we need 1-3 more class signings.

We might need to sign a player who can play CB or RB, since Kolo and Eboue are off to the African cup. I know we have Senderos and Djeru but they seem shaky at times. Our midfield is well covered with Denilson, Diaby, Song, and Flamini is still here for sum reason.

Ade is also gone to the cup and we are left with RVP, Theo, Da silva and Bendntner.

If I were Wenger I would put more strength in the back four than in any other positions. Also take into account injuries. I really really dont think Wenger is looking for any more strikers.

Sagna is likely to be signed, so that should solidify the back four. Although, I wish Gallas would fuck off. I've had enough of him.

That's a little harsh. Last year wasn't his best season, but I think he brings much needed experience to the team and has proven with Chelsea and France that when he plays well he's one of the best defenders in the world. It sucks how Campbell leaves and he has an injury free season and we get Gallas and he has a decent season at best with lots of injuries.
