Monaco is not **** for God's sake, they are CL Subchampions. Now, that's a typical media product, like D'Alessandro, Romagnoli, Tevez or Cavenaghi in Argentina. Media players are almost always crap, but there are exceptions (Romagnoli or Tevez of my list XP)

no man. I never said that Monaco was crap. the issue was that Monaco offered Carlos Bueno a contract last week and he refused it (to their extreme surprise) because Casal told him that he could make alot more money if he was sold under him. (brain washing saying that he shouldnt let this oportunity pass)

So I said that hell end up playing for a worst team than Monaco (i was trying to say a team below monaco) and still end up making more cash (since Casal is an ass hole....but hes a talented ass hole.)

Of course i think Monaco is amazing. They're the second best team in europe for god sakes. Glad Chevanton is doing well there....too bad for his injury.

EDIT: I agree that our defence is really bad. But all the goals came from the fact of how underdeveloped it was with Carrasco.

Still Lembo (i really dont like him.....over rated in uruguay)....Sorondo? Please. Bizera is OK and Dario Rodriguez is just there cause he has really impresive experience (plays in a good clubtoo; Shalke 04). Very mediocre when u look at the line though. your right about that.

Montero is just god for me. Top 10 defenders alive. Even Bielsa was quoted saying (during 2002 qualifyers i believe) that Montero would play for Argentina if he was born there. (think it )was "sin cassette"or "mar de fondo:...one of those shows.)

Hes got the same style as Ayala (love Ayala)....exept hes a great brute....but a smart one. He doesnt even foul for the hell of it.

In an interview he had this year, he said that he has so many trick through his experience. He says that by kicking hard at a player in short but painful fouls, they'll think twice before atempting to get near you again and youll screw his game up (think he used a game where he got carded in a Brutal foul against Montella once.......(game where montella was kicking ass) and after that, montela was pissing himself everytime he got near montero....he would go out of his way not to see him on the pitch. helarious. i love that guy. (dont quote me...i THINK it was montela)

Or vs. Ecuador in copa America....he saw that Ecuador was starting out strong and attacking fast....so he gives that first brutal foul to their midfielder.......it starts off a huge scuffle between all the Ecuadorian players and completly stopped their mindset and set them "cold" (even pissed them off enough to lose their concentration). Oh....I watched Uruguay/Senegal yesturday and you should have seen how he figured how to take care of Diouph where Denmark and France had failed.

Sorry for that rant....but montero is like an idol to me ever since i was a kid (i used to go see him when he was in penarol in the 90's and met him once......even though im Nacional, i knew he was an amazing player).

Oh, I misunderstood completely XP

Yes, but well, if Bueno is a Media Product as described, hope he will end playing for a Serie B team XP (as you may guess, I hate media players)

I think D'Alessandro is not a media player at all and he is not crap either. I've seen him play some games in the Copa America and the Olympics and he has shown a lot of capacity...he is a very good dribbler and has very good ball skills as well. His passes are very fast and accurate and has a great first touch...I think you should try to see him play more often...As for Cavenaghi and Romagnoli, yes, they are not as great as they seem...especially Romagnoli. He still plays in Argentina.:)

I like Romagnoli....not Cavenaghi.
Too bad about Racing eh? They should have atleast tied Boca on sunday. They have a great team this year (my fave team in Argentina too)

With Media Player I'm not meaning bad, I'm meaning he has a lot of space at television, mainly in publicitaries. It's nothing bad, but sometimes they overrate players like Cavenaghi that, being a great striker, it's no so good in other things, just like Palermo, but media tries to make us think that Cavenaghi is a God Striker (Figueroa could beat his crap out easily, not to mention Saviola and others)

D'Alessandro is a great player, the best AM nowadays, but very supported by media. I must remark that he doesn't suit my taste always, he is great, but stupid many times (It's so easy to make him angry...) hope he could correct that errors.

Romagnoli stills plays in Argentina, but well... I'm still thinking that the best AM for Argentina is Gallardo, but he is out of fit and level... (he could rock on WC2002, but Bielsa loves the crap of Aimar...)

D'Alessandro is OK for now, but as long as he get those silly red cards, I will always prefer another AM

Tough two away games for Peru. Peru, after having lost 8 pts. at home in the past 4 games, is in desperate need to regain these pts. against Bolivia and Paraguay. With the abcenses of Solano (only gainst Bolivia) and Pizarro (both games) Peru will have to play above capacity in order to replace these two important players. Their replacements will be Garcia and Guerrero. This will be Guerrero's first time playing for the Peruvian national team (senior team), having before played for Peru's national youth teams. Also, Guerrero's great performance in the Bayern's amateur team has led him to be called up for the nats.
Peru's probable starting line-up against Bolivia is as follows:

-------------------- Ibanez----------------
Galliquio--- Rebosio -- Acasiete --- Salas
Palacios--- Jayo---- Ciurlizza -- Garcia
---------- Farfan --- Guerrero ------

Other South Americans here that would like to post their present situation of their national teams are urged to do so, thanks.

Its great line-up I think.. especially when playing a defensive game. Jayo and Ciurlizza are both defending mids so youl know exactly what Autori, the coach, has in mind. Of course, the forwards, Farfan and Guerrero will be something different to watch. Even though they already played together in the U21 Peru teams, it will be interesting to see how they do with the rest of the gang. I have a good feeling about this game against Bolivia since they're in so much internal turmoil. I think we can at least get a tie.. and a win is not out of the question either.

VAMOS PERU CARAJO! :rockman:

i thought peruvians knew that Ibañez sucks
i saw the match, and Bolivia deserved the win , they played better than Peru, and Farfan was the only peruvian in the attack, the rest were defending the 0-0.
