now it's over.... 1-1 :(

Olmos is a cocksucker :kader: Pinilla starts just because Zamorano is his agent. He's absolutely **** (just ask Sporting, Celta, Chievo...) and he's totally overrated.

now Paraguay, in Asuncion :( things looks bad, very bad.... i hope that Brazil wins tomorrow and a draw between Ecuador and Paraguay.

2-1 with the players we fielded away to Bolivia.

I am happy with that. :D

Its not a bad result either. None of the "big 3" has been able to defeat Chile IN Chile.....but the way Chile played (AT Home) was not good. Paolo completely put Salas in his pocket.

Forlan was covered by THREE guys by the end too. Id say the tie was justified.

The goal Milosevich missed.......i couldnt believe it.

All in all.......its better for us. Losing points at home is a BIG no no when going to the WC.

yeah, but we have lose points against Colombia and Paraguay at home. We have better results playing away (wins vs Venezuela and Bolivia, and a draw in Argentina). We haven't win at home since 2003 :|. But good things come with bad things... if we lose vs Paraguay, Olmos will be sacked :ewan: .

Salas is doomed. He should retire now. Between injuries and his 'love life', he has become :sb9:

They cant fire Olmos.......not this late in the Eliminatoria. Common sense. It would be a disaster.

That's the problem with Uruguay, the mentality. We're happy to emulate instead of achieve. That none of the "big" teams took the three points in Chile should have been more even incentive for us to win them, not an excuse if we lost them.

A point is always better than nothing, but Uruguay has also left too many points in the way at home. We need to sum by 3pts, at home and away, to make up for the 6pts we threw away at home against Venezuela and Peru of all teams, and I'm certain that Santiago would have been easier than Maracaibo, Lima and Quito.

Uruguay should have won yesterday. The game was played in such a way that we could have taken the points. The point is better than nothing, but it has a bitter aftertaste.

Uruguays still 5th, it'll be great to play Uruguay again, time for revenge.

Im afraid Uruguay wont be as weak as they were back then (Trust me....if you really knew........Uruguay had a really mediocre team filled with players that wouldnt play now if they begged)

Matter of fact...think it was .
Carini
Lembo (1 Star Defender)
Montero (Only good one)
Sorondo
Tais......meh

Regueiro (When he was average compared to what he is today)
Recoba- Good
De Lo SAntos? (I forgot.....but an other "ok/good" player)

Magallanes
Dario Silva ...........maybe the worst Forward line Uruguay has ever had.

And PUA as Coach :funny:

Well lucky for us we dont have to worry about Australia for now. (well not really lucky :p)

And Brazil......well......they never beat us in Uruguay in history so.
But its true.....i was really impressed with how we played last night.

Centenario is going to literally come down.

And I noticed one thing last night. Yes being home helps........but if the team is "****" (In this case: Chile last night).......it wont guarantee anything.
