Davids Reaches Inter Agreement

As we confirmed last week on Goal.com, Edgar Davids is set to sign with Inter.
The Dutchman’s agent Robert Goerlings and the Nerazzurri put the finishing touches on a three-year contract worth 3.5 million euros a season in a meeting yesterday.

There were reports circulating in the British press yesterday that the player was set to be unveiled by Chelsea, but these proved to be false.

Now we await the official announcement that Davids will be playing at the San Siro next season.

I know...I was gonna post about how happy I was that he snubbed Chelsea, but I was thinking the same thing.

I did read that we could only offer half of what Chelsea was offering..so I wouldn't really call him a money whore.

Anyways....Veron and Davids sounds fantastic...we'll have to see if Veron can re-discover himself.

I don't think spurs need a lot of new players, they already have a lot of alent on the team. If they move Ledly King back to defense and buy a talanted midfielder they will do alright. As for Inter, it doesn't really matter, they still won't win anything
