A patch for a demo is lame. A software company that does it's job shouldn't even need to release a patch for a full game. It's people like you that let second-rate releases happen - because while software companies can get away with it, they will.

WHY does EA need to screw it when we need them the most, WHY???? (put some heroic effort in it, when youre reading it)

If there are bugs...people like you and I won't care...we'll know it will be fixed by release.

BUT, for those who download it at EA sports spiratically, and don't know much about the series...to them, first impressions are everything. Therefore, a great demo could boost sales!

Some people really need to chill out and go do something else for a few days. It's a demo. For a video game. It is not the be all and end all. Just settle down. Moaning and groaning is not going to make EA upload the thing.

I bet the people who are the ones yelling "I WANT THE DEMO NOW" are the ones who'll be the first to bag it and tear it to peices and claim it's crap because Roberto Carlos has a fibre of hair on his head or the commentator mis-pronounces a player's name. Settle down people. Where's the love here?

I'm surprised soccered.com released that info to all of us (well, they found it at another site)...because I would've kept it secret, downloaded it, then told everyone ;)...I'm a nice guy:)

Maybe the link there is just a bandwidth test... to see (more or less) the kind of bandwidth they need to the demo download page.



From the movies I've seen, I think it is a new sunrise for FIFA series. A total revamp... but if EA continue filling our expectations with things that don't correspond to the truth, some day in the future, they will work for 1000 fans.... the most conservative...

Did you not read the post correctly I stated that that info was originally posted in another thread by a user on this forum who goes by the name of HAHA,all I did was copy and post the info cause I thought people could have a few laughs out of it,in no way did I actually believe that information to be true.

Since the demo was shifted as well known, I had inquired with EA sports whether a new release date admits is and why the demo was not already published. And forwards approx.. 10 min. I got the answer: The demo was already ready, in order on the official homepage von Fifa 2003 to be published. First some tests had to be only made and were noticeable there that on Windows XP systems the play very often fell or did not start at all. The programmers are however already very industriously to work and they think that the demo will already appear on 04 October! We hope only that still new errors are not discovered!

That is excellent news, Vince :), but let me ask you something: do you think that German site is reliable source? I mean, do they usually post bullsh!t?
Anyway, we'll find out tomorrow. I hope it gets out asap, since we're all tired of the "when's the demo coming out?" questions, although I have the feeling that we'll still see some of these even after the demo's release.
