OFFICIAL: FIFA say make a UK team now or else.

FIFA have told the 4 UK associations they MUST form one National team immediately or they will be expelled from the organisation.

How it will happen is that Scotland, Wales and NI will give up their places in the current qualifying campaign and the new UK team will supercede England.

That of course means there is a good chance the new team will be in Germany 2006.

Ok then. If ur being serious then it's because there is a British Olympic committee whereas in football there are 4 separate associations in Britain.

BTW there are lots of Sports where the countries are separate

I actually spoke to someone from the British Olympic Comittee a while back... Apparently the main reason why we don't have a joint football association here is because they wouldn't be able to decide who would have what players. I mean, seriously. It would be all England, with the exception of perhaps Giggs (and even him not for long). That's the actual reason. *Shrug*
